So quick question
If ghosts can only die from magic bullets does that mean the "risen" that killed Ada-1's mother is still alive?

It’s just any form of catastrophic damage to a ghost a thorn bullet is just the fastest way to do so

2 RepliesEdited by Circadian Wolf: 3/23/2019 11:54:53 PMI would assume ghosts can be killed by non-acausal weapons because otherwise there would be absolutely no risk fighting the cabal or fallen or vex. It’s probably just the fact that it was a single shot from an otherwise weak gun. Ghosts can “self-modify” at will so they’re probably able to repair damage from small arms fire. I imagine the powerful weapons Ada-1 uses are more than enough to destroy a ghost.

Considering Izanagis Burden appears to be capable of delivering amazing damage in a single concentrated shot, it makes sense that a well placed shot could end a ghost

My running theory is that Pre-Red War ghosts aren’t as strong as Post-Red War ghosts because the traveler is awake. It could also be that you can kill a ghost with a normal weapon, but you can only penetrate its shell with a Devourer bullet, thus explaining why Callum could pierce his ghost with the bullet and why Sundance exploded
