I’m not going to play comp for an exotic.
Ever.
Don’t care if it makes the bounty progress faster.
Comp sucks.
Even comp players play quickplay instead.

The thing that sucks is being forced to play comp with weapons you don't prefer. My kd sucks after trying to get all these weapons. If one teammate is chasing grenade launcher kills and you're trying to hit 2100 for lunas (I was at 2080 the night before reset 3 times) it ends up ruining it for the player that's trying to kill by any means necessary.

Edited by BSAL01: 3/17/2019 11:55:26 AMIt's making people jump into comp to grind void hand cannon kills. People who normally wouldn't play comp and who couldn't care less about wins or losses. And with the new loss mechanic it completely sucks. There's no point in running comp right now.

8 RepliesI will continue to say this forever because it will never change: Quests have no place in Comp. Comp should be about playing your best, with your best, with people who are also playing their best. Taking time to complete a quest in that environment is wasteful of everyone's time, and the effort of your teammates. I also frown on quests that require final blows in a team play setting.

You just a whiner. Comp for the thorn quest was not bad, plus quickplay is an option instead.

Play comp. run void subclass. Ikelos HC and the colony. Get a 3-5 streak here or there and you’ll be done in 10 games.

I went from 60% to 90% after three games of comp, one was countdown.

Neither am I. If only QP wasn’t fundamentally broken in several ways, then perhaps it would be tolerable.

2 RepliesYou are in luck my friend, thorn is trash. No not just thorn, 140, 150 hc are utterly useless. Accept maybe ace. But they were thoroughly wrecked by bungie with bloom.

It’s not too bad right now. Every other bad player is in there with their poor skills. I suck at pvp and I got it done. Plus sub ranks give powerful engrams. I ran into a few groups with Lunas but otherwise it was people just like me I actually got a couple of gold medals in there.

I did it. I hate D2 PvP. Love Gambit though. I didn't go up in rank at all. About by the second match I was barely caring and gaining 20-30% per match. Just joking around with pals and talking about how horrible the playlist is. Hearing consecutive sighs on that worthless countdown mode. All around decent time. My advice: Don't play that terrible playlist to win. Grab a few friends, go in, get your kills, and get on to worth while bits of the quest. Hope this helps.
