Yes but they should only have bonuses like “gain X% more xp when doing X activity” or “gain additional faction consumables/resources when doing X activity.”

It takes away the freedom of using whatever armor you want... let's say having a full set of crucible armor let's you capture points quicker, people will only be using crucible armor in the crucible... that kinda removes the emphasis of customizing your own specific guardian. Set bonuses should be small but still existent if they are implemented, like extra faction rewards so people aren't required to use them to be on an even playing field.
