Telesto needs to be moved to the heavy slot or nerfed.
There's no real explanation needed. I'm sure you've all come across some sweaty try hard with no honor using it and effortlessly winning gunfights. Going through the Crucible on recruit difficulty is the only way for some folks to get by I guess. Just let a Bungie rep see this and do something. Thx.

The problem with telesto is that it beats most if not all primary weapons, i would be ok with telesto in special slot if it just did extra dmg to shotgun rushers but as it is now you cant outgun this thing with a primary unless you use telesto. Either put it in heavy or bring acrius and tractor cannon to special.

Sorry man. I was a sniper/trust user until 2 days ago. Then i caved in and learned how to use telesto. Im gaining elo like never before While it's still good and useful, i'm gonna keep using telesto to get that free elo.

Nah, I use it whenever im against a premade using Luna in quick play, they might win the game but I make sure they won't have any long killstreaks.

5 RepliesI absolutely wreck with Telesto... funny thing is, I RARELY die to it. It's an easily obtainable weapon. I don't understand... if its SOOOOO good, why don't more people use it?! I mean people crutch on shotguns and it is what it is... but God forbid anyone use a Telesto against you.

26 RepliesNO. You just need to learn how to counter fusion rifles. When someone is using one in a match, I may die to it once or twice....until I figure out how that guy is using it. Then its not a problem after that. But if you're sniper who doesn't pay attention to whats going on around you....or a shotgunner who is overly-aggressive? Yeah, Telesto is going to make your life miserable. But then so will any other high-impact fusion rifle.

3 RepliesThe telesto is basically like any other fusion rifle. I’ve used it (but I don’t have the catalyst) the only reason you get owned by it is cuz you are not that great at countering it

Those who abuse it due to the abundance of special ammo though... I have no respect. Edit: but then again, the special ammo economy leading to special weapon abuse isn't the player's fault.

5 RepliesAnyone who is trying to win is a try hard. Just because people don’t know how to counter a weapon and they don’t use the weapon themselves they cry nerf. If you’re stupid enough to walk into bolts that are on the ground/wall and you die that’s on you. Also it’s not consistent over longer ranges, exactly how all the other fusions work. Shottys are ohk and so are snipers and so are fusions if used correctly so shall we move them back to heavy aswell. You need to know the ranges of a weapon and adjust against it accordingly, not jus cry. Also it takes an exotic slot so it’s fine where it is. If bungie moved it to heavy then moaning nerf cryers like yourself will just move on to the next weapon that kills you and cry nerf. Shall we make chaperone, Luna, not forgotten and any other good weapon into heavy slot aswell 🤦♂️
