Tfw you can't decide about gloating about being right (as usual) about the effects of massive, debt-financed government stimulus spending on the economy, or being sanctimonious about how we could have avoided one of the greatest American tragedies of the century by stimulating the economy and alleviating the suffering of millions at the height of the Recession instead of at... 4% unemployment
