Literally every topic on the forums I go on, there is always someone complaining about something about destiny, and that makes me wonder if there people actually enjoy playing destiny as much as I do anymore. I understand that there are flaws to the game, but there are a lot of very wonderful things about it too, and I feel like it’s important to see both about any kind of media. Is there anyone else who has noticed this sort of thing? I understand is you dislike the
game, but that doesn’t mean everyone else has to. Same with the opposite.

No, you’re not. We are here. Our voices are unheard.

1 ReplyDestiny is better than it has ever been right now. Those of us enjoying it are mostly in game not complaining about it. No news is good news because people mostly stay quiet when they are happy. I personally know over 20 people that have gotten back into destiny for forsaken and are loving it. The forums are just a complaint box.

I still like the game. I just find myself incredibly frustrated with it at the same time. Everything's too time consuming to do, and it hurts my fun factor.
-
I like it. I think. Or else it's just an addictive/obsessive compulsive habit I can't seem to shake. Either way, I'm content.
-
you're probably not, people on the forum just bitch about everything
-
I love it. There are problems but it's great.

After coming back to D2 from my time quitting just before Osiris I have to say they did a good job with forsaken. They’ve restored the grind and I was actually excited to get one eyed mask yesterday and Ursa furiosa today. Had that same feeling when I got my first gjallarhorn back in the day.

1 ReplyEdited by DeathPony07: 11/4/2018 2:22:10 AMYes. The game is for elitist neckbeards now. Bungie doesn't give a -blam!- about normal players.

Destiny 2 is like delicious meal wasted by pieces of shit here and there. Base meal could be fantastic but whole thing disgusting. Bungo should fire people doing this dirty job.
-
Not at all. Happy player giving constructive feedback. Thats all we can do Bröther
-
no people who like the game rarely come and voice their opinion where a majority will come from the hate side and bash on them.
-
give the people a platform to voice their opinions and they will...

Most of the complainers probably do still like the game. If they didn’t, they’d probably just stop playing. But as everyone gets closer to the level 600 cap, there’s no reason to play anymore. I see lots of post about no forsaken exotic drops. Working to level 600 was a goal that showed progress but when you get there, the last thing to do is get the exotics which you could potentially never progress to. As acquiring new exotics is shifted into main focus of progressing, frustration level builds, and people complain. I still really like the game but I’m in the same boat as the complainers (although getting killed by nova warp doesn’t bother me as much.) I like destiny but I just reduced my playing hours to almost nothing in a week instead. I’ll be back next expansion.

Edited by Ve7n00m: 11/3/2018 4:06:41 PMThe game has a life span of about 2-3 months then people get frustrated because they want to play it but there’s no reason to other than chasing gear tied to awful RNG. I don’t know why the game has such a hold over some people, I mean it’s not like anything we have spent 100’s of hours playing for will be carrying over to D3, and then Bungie will just sell us back D1 and D2 Exotics incrementally AND make us do grindy quests to get. I still play because I don’t get much time to game theses days and it’s so easy to just pick a game mode and jump straight in. I can kill things for an hour and have some fun over spending an hour in an open world like red dead and achieving absolutely nothing apart form having played 45 minutes of poker and rode a horse across a mountain

Game looks pretty. Feels good mechanically. Just needs to scrap the content development team. The people whose job is to bring life to this game have been failing for years.
-
I like it. Nice artwork. I like the guns. I enjoy the forums because watching people go beserk over a game makes me laugh. It's a good game to play with a nice bottle of bourbon. I don't have everything, and I likely won't because I'm an average player, but, meh. Good winter fun when the Hog is hibernating in the garage.

2 RepliesHuh.... using a forum to provide feedback on things that you feel need to change... mind blown
-
2 RepliesPeople complain because they want this game to do well, I've enjoyed the game for what it gave me, the content was good, the raid was great, PvP has been fun again after an awful lane camping meta, but it's all the other stuff bungie had done wrong or stuff we never asked for that's ruining a game that has so much potential, the dev team have dropped the ball so many times in D2 not many can see them turning this around, considering we have just had the BIG major patch in forsaken that's suppose to set the game up for a come back the player base didn't stick around much longer than 5-6 weeks an every dlc from now till D3 is small bits of fluff only time will tell if the boat sinks or swims.

You aren’t the only one. Most of the people posting complaints love Destiny and want to see it improve.

1 ReplyIt’s just the way things are now. We are overworked and underpaid and in debt from college up to our ears. Meanwhile billionaires increased their wealth by an average mother-blam!-ing 20% last year. Our government and police are protecting the cocksuckers and trying to sell some trickle down economy lie. So yeah we really don’t need Bungie to make a video game that simulates any type of the bullshit we deal with in real life.
-
I do enjoy it (except PvP)...what annoys me is that I have so much to do now but I struggle to find enough free time to get all of that done...
-
It’s honesty just a love and hate relationship for some people like most games nowadays.
-
7 RepliesTrust me, I like the game. The toxic community is what I dislike (although it has nothing on overwatch).
-
I enjoy destiny and there’s plenty fir me to do. But I’ve gotten bored with ur so I’m putting it aside for a while to play other games
-
I'm mad about exotics but I love the game

I LOVE DESTINY even D2(snort snort). Seriously though as long as I don't need to pop into PvP unless I really 'want' to and I don't have team mates that only care about getting there bounty and then nothing else I even really like Gambit. What I really love is all the rest of the PvE. Theres usually enough for me to do with what little time I take to play (normally always a stress break from working 80hours a day/8 days a week. If for some reason I'm even slightly bored I pop back into D1 I have never failed to run Prison, Forge, strikes due to waiting for other players to fill in. Sadly the only Raid in D1 I have ran since D2 came out is Crota, because lest face it, its easy to solo but still, yes I admit it, my fav Raid (says he who has yet to run Last Wish) In fact I'm REALLY excited for this next week because my chars are now all 600 and I'm now comfortable with running Shattered Throne to get my Wish Ender (last around I was still only 570)
