notifications not coming thru

This has been happening for over 2 months now. I'm not receiving notifications for game invs and party invs. I've called xbox live and they said it was an issue on destiny's end. I've tried hard resetting my xbox, my router, and almost anything that has to do with my connection. Even my friends invs aren't showing up now from time to time. People can receive mine just fine. If anyone can think of anything else that i can do PLEASE let me know

  • Hey I'm having the exact same issue! It started 2 weeks ago for me. I've done all available troubleshooting and spent way to many hours trying to figure this out and looking for info. Just to get this out of the way, I'm not a networking novice so I've tried all usual fixes and more. Yes my privacy settings are all correct and notifications are definitely turned on. Basically if anyone who isn't on my friends list sends me a Game invite or Party invite to play Destiny, I will never see it. No pop up notification. No invites in the Notifications section of the Guide. Then I get an angry message asking if I'm gonna join or not. Lol. So I can't use LFG at all. Even adding them real quick doesn't resolve this. I'm stumped. I can't find any information about this issue. My wired connection has always been perfect. The only thing that changed around the time this started was the first Preview Program Update for build 1703 installed. Also, I changed my router to an Asus RT-AC66U. My connection tests are all green. Need help!
