UPVOTE IF WORLDS FIRST SHOULD GO TO NON-CHEATERS!
I think its absolute bullshit that Bungie is going to give Indica and his cheating team worlds first. They were all 560+ thanks to a prime engram glitch. Bungie SHOULD strip their titles and reset ALL of their gear to 500. Any of game worths its salt would have done so.
Way to ruin a great DLC with bad decision making. Dont even get me started with locking the 3rd subclass behind the 1st boss. Edit: Cosmo said there will be alternative ways to get the 3rd seed in the future.
To be clear, Im less mad about worlds first, and more frusterated with how they achieved it. Cheating/Exploiting/ETC is in fact against TOS and is unethical.
Gladly muting anyone willing to defend this crap. This isn't a change my mind post, and I dont care about the words of someone who supports exploitation.

It took 19 hours, were you up for 19 hours straight? Took Datto 24 hours and 2 minutes (rip Datto feels bad), were you up for that long? Did you put in remotely that much effort? I didn’t think so. Did you want the worlds first a week later? You’re probably that person who said getting the raid chest early was cheating. Glad(d)ly mute me, Redeem is still first and will be the only first people to do it in 24 hours unless Bungie bends the rules for Datto which is really well deserved if they do. This happens in the PvP meta all the time I never thought it would happen here. People complain about shotguns, but don’t bother to use a shotgun. Omg I’m being out sniped by a no skill sniper, but they have the same weapon and can’t kill them. Two tap hand cannons, but they have access to the same exact weapon. Now people complain about the prime engram “cheaters” but they couldn’t done the SAME THING for the raid. Omg then got a raid chest early, they couldn’t opened it ALSO. Why don’t people take things into their own hands nowadays? I’m quite a positive person but this asinine post just really triggers me. Do it yourself and come back to your post

If the prime engram exploit is patched then I would say that they don’t deserve the worlds first because they abused it. However if the exploit is not patched then I can’t say the same. I understand your angry at the failing of bungie and them always turning away when streamers do things like this but let’s face it If they are elitist streamers who brag about world first then they are nothing but attention seeking kids that need to move out of their parents basement. The fact that bungie listen to them for game changes is more of a problem, the new infusion system is thanks to them commenting on how they are sitting on mountains of resources. No they were not all 560+ Indica and Modern were 562 at the end after all their raid drops, Gladd didn’t even start grinding till week 2 and everyone else just played more. Stop crying

7 RepliesSo far only 25% of those who responded agree with you LOL Personally i think it's fine, the raid was still pretty hard, and it was possible to get to 545+ without it. I missed out on a lot of really powerful rewards the first week and A few on the second, and I'm sitting at 535. And I work 56 hours a week, so yes, I do have a life 😂

1 ReplyExploiting and cheating are two very different things. Manipulating in game mechanics to achieve an unforeseen and unintended result is exploiting. this is not only common, but the go to for speedrunning and other official events. However, this does not involve the use of external hardware or software to manipulate the game in a state that is impossible to replicate normally in game. This is known as cheating, and is completely against the terms of service. The two are completely different in their own respects. Also, it is important to note, that after this exploit was discovered, prime attunement was reworked to allow for multiple prime engram drops per buff, and the buff returns after a few hours when lost, effectively allowing indefinite prime engram drops normally, reducing the exploit to nothing more than a mere farm. The fact is, grinding prime engrams gave them very little if any noticeable advantage over any other teams, and some other teams were actually higher power than them all around. Not only this, but most of the other teams that have beaten the raid have also exploited the glitch. Therefore, in conclusion, the exploit is practically irrelevant to their achievement. The only people responsible for any possible changes in order of teams that finished the raid, and consequential loss of both worlds first and the 24 hour emblem, is Bungie, who as usual, launched the raid with many unforeseen glitches, leading to the obstruction of encounter completions, and consequentially the order of teams that finished the raid. However, this is largely unavoidable to Bungie, as the play test team could never make up for the thousands of players throwing themselves into the raid to find every quirk and glitch the raid might have.

Every team regardless of who actually beat it struggled (even using exploits in light) Can you imagine been 540/550? It would never have happened for anyone!

Honestly I could care less who got world's first so far only a handful of teams even finished it and willing to bet the majority of those people use the priming Grande Cheese I'm not defending them I'm just saying more than likely they weren't the only ones so if it weren't go to them it may not go to anybody but kudos to all the teams that have finished it the spent over 18 hours grinding through that thing it's crazy where the age did the prime and Graham cheese or not it's just freaking crazy

The 3rd subclass is NOT locked behind the 1st boss. You get seeds of light from multiple sources, not just the raid. Blind well tiers 2 & 3 drop them too.

2 RepliesEven if they did exploit they deserve recognition. Light level wasn’t the only factor in the raid. You had to figure out and execute each encounter, and they were able to do it first. Hundreds of other teams probably did that exploit too but none of them automatically finished the whole thing just because of it.
