Before Forsaken dropped Fusions with a charge time around 700-740 (like the Main Ingredient) dealt around 46-48 damage per bolt (4-5 beams to kill), and now they are dealing 39 damage per bolt (5 beams or 6 to kill depending on resilience used by opponent). The faster ones have even worse impact (I''ve even seen damage per bolt dropping to 20's at medium range).
From what I understand, the charge time displayed on the stats of any Fusion Rifle is the time it needs (in milliseconds) to charge before firing (for example, Main Ingredient has a default charge time of 740ms = 0.74 seconds to charge).
Even after Fusion Rifles got nerfed countless times in D1, the impact of Fusions with a similar charge time to the Main Ingredient was never as low as it is now. There was a spreadsheet which measured all default charge times for D1 Fusions...
For example, the Susano took 0.7 seconds to charge and dealt 44 damage per bolt (5 beams to kill regardless of resilience).
So how is it that a slower-charging Fusion like the MI (0.74 seconds) is now dealing 39 beams per bolt?
And Fusions in D2 have a significant drop-off at medium to long ranges unlike in D1.
