Gambit Suspension
I've been playing Destiny 2 on PS4 for at least 8 hours yesterday, and played for a few this morning and Ive had no connection issues, even in crucible. I played 2 gambit matches with my friends and halfway through I got kicked out and it warned me of suspension. The second game I went into did the same thing but this time I got suspended.
I'm very upset because I want to be an gambit pro, but I cant even play it if it keeps banning me from it. How long does this last and is there a way to tell if people leave on their own accord or by network error because I know its not fair to the people who are still playing, but it sure isnt fair to someone who is having issues here and there

1 ReplyI'm currently having the same problem here but on PC. Any other activities are just fine but Gambit keeps kicking me out. I'm pretty sure it's not because of my connection?

It's not your connection: the opposing team are cheating, and using an exploit to kick you out of the match when they're losing.

1 ReplyEdited by E1ite Yoshi: 10/5/2018 4:05:17 AMOk i understand why they put this suspension in but at the same time, I have a big pet peeve when it comes to this feature being added in multiplayer modes. so my biggest issue with this whole thing if it;s in Gambit which is focused on pvp too why isn't this penalty applied to the Crucible? My whole issue with this suspension is that you get punished for leaving a Gambit match, but yet people leave Crucible matches all the time and there's no penalty whatsoever. Seems weird on Bungie's part if you ask me. I mean it get it you're down one person on a fireteam and it puts you at a significant disadvantage. But here's the thing: people leave Crucible all the time. Mostly from rage quitting and that still puts the fireteam at a disadvantage.

4 RepliesI also got suspended due to leaving a couple games out of frustration due to the Cayde’s Will quest being broken & my hand cannon kills not registering. So I quit out to do it another time but come to find out I’ve been suspended for quitting 2 games. I mean I can understand people who quit out of 5 or more. But only two is a problem and on my 2nd game it was only me & one other guy. We were getting smashed on so I said forget this & I got suspended. Anyone know how long the suspension lasts? Thanks. 1 ReplyAgree with all this happening to me and when games finish i can’t leave so when i do leave i get warnings resulting in my first ban which is slightly unfair 🙄🙄🙄

1 ReplyI got kicked too, then when I went to rejoin the game froze up and when it finally got me back into orbit Iwas banned, still can't figure out how long this lasts for.

You shouldn't penalize a person who spends money on your game cuz they can't play for a study 35 minutes straight. plus it happens maybe 1 out of 10 games, if that. Like you want to enslave us. Plus you put out this fantastic game type and then ban people from it for no good reason which defeats the purpose. why'd you make such a great game type if you were going to ban everybody from it. Trust me I'm no quitter. I always play to the end. I'm definitely not the guy who should get banned

The match started with only two on my team a third joined and I get kicked then I'm suspended. It's bull man!

10 Repliesnetwork errors are still your issue. they are considered early leaves as it causes your team to be a man down and if they were not considered leaves players would just pull their network cable to avoid the timeout.

Freaking BS I have google freaking fiber and no issues with anything but because the billion dollar company can't make their servers not error out every 5 minutes they punish us. FU bungie fix your servers

something like that happened to me today, but i think that is unffair. I must to say that I quit 2 games but the first was because of an error in the game, the game started and keeps me in the team cabin, I tried to do everything that I though and the last resource was quit the game. The second was because an electric issu in my home. Well, guess i can wait, but i wanna know how and if that bug will be fixed. Thanks for any answer

Same problem here. Destiny has been randomly crashing for me and I was playing a match and destiny crashed. It happens again and now I am suspended. This system needs to be fixed.

13 RepliesThis is really good to hear. Not that you are getting banned. But bungie has some kind of system in place that is suspending people from playing an activity for having a shit connection. I hope they know when someone is ddosing another player so the player getting kicked from the game don't get suspended for it. All the destiny tryhard cheaters might finally be getting dealt with. I hope mcdonalds wifi players get shit on too. Fair play coming to the game finally.

Btw i'm not going to try to reconnect if there is a risk that it will crash again and count as 2 leave loooooooooooooooooool. And so much ppl cheating these days...do you plan to stop fapping?

I left my match earlier in the day because the other team were cheating. Then me and a friend were about to do Gambit ten minutes ago. Right before we got into the match with four players we get "coconut". I believe the other team Dos me and my friend off. So now I'm suspended and my friend isn't? Yea this company has always favored the cheaters since Destiny 1. Why do innocent players have to suffer while the cheaters get to level up?

Bungie pls i did not leave because i want to it was because i was waiting for along time to load in and the server only has 7 people which four of them are in a fireteam this already occur to me 2 times in the same day which make me really sad because i just claim all the new bounty for today and im a bit afraid not having to much time to grind pls bungie pls fix the server......... im trying to have fun playing destiny but if this occur again i might consider my self to stop playing gambit for a while..

The same thing happened to me man all my team left and I was the only on so I left as well cause nobody was joining and I got suspended for doing same thing people leaving and I leave

I had experienced the same issues but related to gambit itself. I was stuck in the starting room for 50 percent of the match and decided to leave so my teammates could have a chance at getting a new player in, and the second time was because we were stuck in an endless loading loop, causing me to close the application (we waited for half an hour before I closed the application).

When I turned my xbox on today, I had a warning for suspension. During my first game today, we had a connection issue after the first round, we got back in, but as soon as we got back in, me and another friend were kicked for "being idle" when the entire party was delayed at the loading screen. I tried to join back in, but now im suspended due to a bungie loading issue and not my network issue. WTF.

I got banned too. First got stuck on the loading screen so I never actually made it into the match. Next game I had 2 people quit so I just quit and then it banned me.

I'm curious to know the answer to this too because I got booted out by Bungie asking me am I still there because someone in my house called me for a second I walked away and this is my second time getting booted out of Gambit now I don't have access to it so please answer this question bungie when will i have access back to my game cause you booted me ask me im i still there in the ****** game
