I’m honestly sick of every update requiring me to play crucible. It wouldn’t be bad if crucible didn’t suck complete ass.
Like all I want to do is get my solstice armor upgraded. But no, I have to play your god awful crucible to do so.
-blam!- off bungie.

13 RepliesAnthem is looking better all the time.

10 games 1 win. Whst the -blam!- is going on? If you cant get more than 10 kills in 1 game then stop playing. Im so tired of people. Stop trying to get every zone you idiots
-
13 RepliesWe crucible players "need" to do a lot of PVE stuff to get things. In D1 you could completely level up from playing crucible. Can't do that in D2, I don't see as much complaining about it though. No one is making any of us do anything. Next week is mayhem. You'll have your 40 super kills in an hour, no big deal. Crucible has been marginalized far too much already.
-
Oh god forbid you have to play PvP, Meanwhile a vast majority of the solstice progression is PvE centric, and in general a vast majority of the leveling grind since launch has been PvE centric. So i guess -blam!- the PvP community lol

Edited by Kiteo Hatto: 8/1/2018 9:29:45 PMYeah, I really can't stand pvp. Hate being forced to do crucible when i want a pve armor set. It would be much more bearable if it was 10 super kills and 30 normal kills, but noooooo its the other way around for some stupid reason. Also, why the hell can't we upgrade each piece individually, why do we need to have the whole set complete first ? I would trash this pos helmet due to it's requirement as im using nezaric's sin anyway 99% of the time. And why in the god's name with all this pvp centric shit there are still no filters in quickplay ? I DONT want to play captures.
-
After leveling up my warlock helmet.. Yea, they need to get rid of pvp stuff or make it quicker to complete. I had to play 8 or 9 matches to complete the helmet.. Maybe a few more than that. It was brutal. PVP in d2 is the worst. If pvp is still garbage in forsaken I hope bungie removes it and makes the game all PVE. Use the space for more content or free up some space on my console. There is a lot of content in D2 pve wise. It's been fun since I came back to it. Wish it felt like this when D2 dropped.

16 RepliesAgreed. They're leaving a lot of players behind by forcing PVP for this event.
-
Bungie, you keep loading me into games in progress. Even if my team is winning, i am going to leave as there isnt enough time to get my 2 supers per game for the stupid armour grind.
-
6 RepliesEdited by Akazaismyfriend: 8/1/2018 12:48:33 PMI like crucible, but I do agree with this. You shouldnt force players to play any specific type. For anything like that there should be a choice get super kills in crucible (example 40) vs get super kills in PVE (400)
-
2 RepliesI don't normally post but I totally agree with this, it is really bad this time , first you have no sbmm in the quick play so average players like me have already stopped playing a week ago . an now you have to wear a set of armor with no or little resilience or recovery in a game with head stompers with full armor and you have little to now chance getting any super kills . Please bungie please fix so we can at least have a chance to complete the quests...…………..
-
Yes this is was and is a stupid idea. The majority does not want to play crucible, this is like Trump. No one wants him but you get him anyway. No one wants PVP - No -blam!-ing one!!! This respawn fest of invincible players and 9 Damage instant kill body shot shit - who wants this ? This makes me angry and not want to play .... like so many others. REMOVE PVP ! Just remove it!
-
2 RepliesIn my opinion, they should remove crucible from the bounties but make it an alternative. There are players out there who only play crucible, so therefore forcing them to play PvE is also not fair. Just make it dual, complete 3 heroic strikes or 3 crucible games, or something along those lines.
-
1 ReplyAgreed. The super kill portion of the armor upgrade is completely ridiculous. Especially for classes with horrible PvP super abilities. I hate that Bungie requires PvP play for its PvE focused game achievements. PvP should always be optional!
-
4 RepliesIt's like 10 matches per character. The point of Solstice is to make you do all the activities, which includes PvP.
-
where is bungie forcing you to do anything? did they visit you and put a gun to your head? threaten your family with violence if you don't play cruicible? no.. they didn't. so stop being so dramatic. If you don't like the activities, then don't expect the rewards
-
1 ReplyMy issue isn't having to do crucible. It's the whole 30 super kills thing. I dont even think I have 30 superkills this entire season. Crucible has become way too sweaty for the casual pvp player. I play everyday I do the raids I grind for all the gear. But this is one I truly am not confident that I can get. You guys always want to bitch about pve players. But the truth that no one else is willing to admit. Is that some of us are trash in the crucible. It's not a crime. So yea this part of the grind is a little more difficult for some of us.
Petition to make bungie stop making us play crucible.
Ridiculous...
There is no way Activision allows Bungie a budget to hire assassins to go to their player's houses and force them at gun point to play crucible... obviously all that money is wasted on 'hyping' the game with 'awesome' but vague details!

Sorry, couldn't help myself. Seriously though it would be nice if they gave multiple alternate paths to accomplish large goals like this; such as a PvE and and PvP option and you could do one or the other. But then Bungie has been trying to force us to play the way they want us to play their game since early D1, so it's not a surprise... In fact I logged in yesterday, kinda interested for the first time in a few months and then saw all the PvP requirements and decided, nah, I'll just play other games and do stuff I actually enjoy. On the bright side, Bungie's poor choices have given me a long break from Destiny so I can finally catch up on my back log of great games.
Edited by WebN Ragnarok: 8/1/2018 7:46:36 PMIf they ACTUALLY PUNISHED cheaters, maybe it would be fun. Nope... Destiny rewards them.
-
I have absolutely no drive to play the pure garbage that is this games PVP. Locking the entirety of the new 400 gear behind PVP is bullshit.
-
Pvp is terrible. I'm not a crucible player. It's taken me 4 hours to complete the warlock helmet. NOT FUN! If you want to reward crucible player with great gear that makes them powerful in the crucible, then have at it. Please don't force the rest of the community to play this terrible game mode.
-
Agreed. I'm -blam!-ing tired of it. And my wife hates crucible so much she has already given up on the solstice armor.
-
Agree
-
I agree that forcing people into the crucible is a terrible thing. If it was optional that'd be one thing but forcing people to do it for the solstice is garbage. Some people live for pvp and that's ok, others live for the pve and some play both. Forcing players to play the pvp to get gear that celebrates the game is more of a punishment for the non pvp players.
-
At the very least, they can make Mayhem Clash a permanent option, so we can get our Crucible stuff done as fast as possible. Don't need a Meta weapon, just your super, grenades and heavy.
-
As a Crucible casual, I find if you stick with team mates and don't chase the fighting the Crucible isn't that bad and you don't get so frustrated. The more you play, the easier it becomes. I remember being overwhelmed in Crucible in the original Destiny beta. Crucible was much faster than Bungie's Halo multiplayer and even played faster than Halo 4's multiplayer.
