Yep, this is what I've been reading.
A "bad" player....which is a subjective thing...isn't entitled to comment on the state of PVP..
Well, as is well known I am Destiny's worst ever PvP player but, last time I checked, I paid for this game and I am entitled to an opinion on what I play. How else can I or anyone else give feedback ?.
You may not like the opinion but saying I cant give one is nonsense.
Sure, a "better" player may enjoy the stompings and the inflated KD and post their opinion on it...but then I may state my opinion as being the recipient of said stompings and be told its not valid ?.
Come on!
What do you think ?.
Edit :
1. I have said nothing about wanting anything nerfed. Never have never will.
2. I have said nothing about wanting "easy" matches. I don't. When you are as bad as me there are no "easy" matches!
3. I am only asking if bad players are entitled to an opinion on PvP. Its a very simple question.
4. My opinion may be the same as good players. Depends on the opinion but presuming it will only be about nerfs and easy matches is a totally wrong assumption.

5 RepliesI'm bad at PvP. I have a .88 kd. I finally looked it up yesterday. I only play 15 matches a week to earn my milestone engram. I try, I really do. I play solo without a mic. I've learned a few things in matches to up my game and I've learned some things from reading these forums (like using your super after the other team has expended theirs). My point is; I think Bungie should listen to the PvP-centric players and try to make PvP the most fun for them. I don't care about my stats and I can handle being a bullet-magnet for 15 matches a week. As long as I get my milestone engram I'm happy.

3 RepliesIf you dont beg for money online then bungie doesn't care about you.. they only care about streamers/YouTubers.. 👍
-
2 RepliesThe "better" players just want easy matches to boost their stats to make themselves feel good. Cause ya know that kd is gonna look real nice on that resume or college transcript.
-
2 RepliesWell said, each and every opinion is just as valid as any other opinion.

1 ReplyOpinions are like butt holes.......

You think you're bad? 1v1 me snipers only in rust Love, Nano

1 ReplyYour opinion not mattering has nothing to do with how good you are in crucible.
-
Tl/dr You must be new here, The answer is: no, you MUST have skill to have an opinion. #sattire #butseriouslythough

1 ReplyIs this not the point of an fps? I remember back before sbmm was a thing, my first game of Call of Duty I went 0-50 did I cry for the game to be tilted in my favor? Nope. I kept at it... and I got better, know when I play most fps games at or near the top of the leaderboards.
Sure you might be at the bottom of the leaderboard today, BUT if you keep at it and are serious about wanting to get better you will see improvement.
16 RepliesYour opinion is valid and should be ignored by bungie for the greater health of the game. Is that okay?
-
1 ReplyPeople who say that stuff are just insecure little children who's self worth is so heavily tied to their stats in a video game you should actually feel pity for them that their lives are so utterly empty.
-
2 RepliesEdited by B312: 8/1/2018 4:51:58 PMYour opinion matters. End of story. Those "better" players will jump off a bridge for their k/d. They'll make troll posts, too.

1 ReplyI agree. I wouldn’t say I’m a bad player. But the current model requires a 280 light to even complete
-
1 Replyi was a good player before i quit and i only quit yesterday because of the skill based matchmaking thing and stomping noobs is boring af

I am only asking if bad players are entitled to an opinion on PvP. Its a very simple question.
There's many kinds of "bad." Players who only visit the crucible an hour a week for the milestones are not going to be seen as to be able to give a qualified opinion. Generally.

I always get a good laugh when I hear people brag about how awesome they are in pvp and I absolutely loved the rain of tears that followed the radar removal from competitive. There are no truly "skilled" players in games that have high ttk, infinite active radars, heavy aim assist, zero death penalty, insanely high heavy ammo spawn rates, meta gear that tends to make 1v1 encounters heavily one sided if only one player has it, and objectives in pvp modes that are so minor that they can easily be ignored and the game still won. There are no "good" players in D2, Bungie made sure at launch that even the terrible players got to feel special, so now there are "bad players" who are... well, bad, and "less bad" players who take full advantage of everything listed above so they can beat those who don't. Truly skilled players wouldn't need always active radars, infinite heavy ammo, heavy aim assist, full meta loadouts, etc. Problem isnt the players though. Bungie didn't want skilled players walking around on newer, less skilled players and thus discouraging them from playing. In order to prevent this, they significantly lowered the skill ceiling in order to limit the skill gap.

5 RepliesEvery player has an opinion regarding PvP. "Good" players feel threatened that "bad" players are going to get something changed that they use as a crutch, then they might not be so "good" anymore.
-
Bad players only want an environment that encourages them to remain bad. Same shit in PvE with people complaining about WOTW. It’s the same old story.
-
9 RepliesGet a wormcrusk, g lance, and play arcstrider... congrats we’re now the sameish pvp level!

1 ReplyIt's the whole thought process that if you're not good at something then you can't give feedback on it. It's the same thought process like with the people on how, "you don't know how to program you can't say budgie is just being stupid or lazy". Crucible is crap in this game, same with how this event is crap too.

3 RepliesI don't say that but our voices will never be heard thanks to the players you mentioned. For the simple fact is they will get everyone they know to downvoted your post so bungie won't see it making it where your voice has zero credit to what you have a problem with. I have been around long enough to know what's wrong and how exactly to fix it but when I male a post it's ignore by everyone but trolling assholes with nothing better to do or is completely ignore. I had one very successful post along time ago asking for supremacy to be removed asap because it's a mode that no one liked and was basically the only mode that really made the stick to my ass meta a thing for team shooting. I'll give it to you that stuck to my ass meta is still going on but has become worst sense 6v6 was bright back because why honor alone when you can split up into two teams of three and team shoot everyone because you can't do it solo mixed with the graviton lance, vigilance wing,crimson,antipoe-d,sins of the past meta in the game right now. Also 6v6 being one team of solo players vs a team of clan memebers or 6 bffs with nothing better to do with there time. My fix freelance all of PvP. Force a solo que for the game and it will fix the matchmaking problem. Because the que at the moment reads how many people it has found maybe 6 solo players are qued together and still waiting and there a team of 5 or 6 waiting so let's match them and get it going. Which is why there algarythum fail 99 times out of 100. By does anyone listen no they say solo matchmaking sucks and blah blah blah trying to say my idea is bad without even giving it a chance. Also had other ideas but no one listens so I have given up trying to convince anyone I'm just going to let this game die on its own because bungie would rather listen to youtubers and streamers with the thousands to millions of sheep that don't know there ass from a hole in the ground instead of gamers who constanley play the game without any type of compensation or reward for playing. An i mean to the fact that most of the youtubers and so on who were making videos on Destiny 2 for money left while gamers like me were still playing and having a great time playing.

1 ReplyEdited by Black Magic: 8/1/2018 7:23:52 AMIf you’re opinion has little to no credibility, no -blam!-s will be given, especially if they’re coming from bad players. Harsh truth.

1 Replytbh I'm fairly certain the people who say bad pvp player opinions dont count are the same people who use gl or vw

1 ReplyUr bad kid please stop

1 ReplyWhoever said that shouldn't be taken seriously. They don't know what feedback is and how it works. A "bad" player might have a complaint, or feedback along the lines or exactly the same as the majority. Usually if the majority agrees with something, they make sure their voices are heard and bungie either responds or puts it on the back burner. A complaint or an idea isn't always invalidated depending on your skill in the game. Some people don't know what they're talking about, and some do, it's just the way it works.

1 ReplyEdited by doobiecloud: 7/31/2018 8:54:28 PMYou are entitled to an opinion however the credibility and weight of your opinion are a totally different ballgame
