Dear people complaining about the WotW wait....
D1 Mars warsat event would love to have a loooooong chat with you, about what waiting truly is!
Edit: I see ya guys saying how this isn't a fair comparison and so on. I agree! Tis a joke guardians!

80 RepliesOr better yet. This is what a big portion of the community wanted. A secret quest that took effort to unveil and complete. The people complaining just want it served on a platter. Like most of the content in Destiny 2. That line of thinking will be the death of the franchise. Some things should be difficult to get. Makes getting it that much more enjoyable.

4 RepliesYou know.... in D1.... there were sites online that had all the warsat spawn timers down to a T..... so you didn't have to wait what so ever.

1 ReplyI didn't even know the quest was only active a limited time! I figured I'd finish up grinding out the faction rally for the sunshot exotic catalyst (which, by the way, is also a limited time deal) and then jump in to the fray to get the Whisper. Apparently Bungie wanted to get everyone's hopes up before dashing them to the grou--- Wait...it's coming back on weekends? That is a galaxy-sized relief! I remember getting the Black Spindle in D1, and THAT was a pain-and-a-half to wait for, let alone get! At least I know what I'm LFGing for come my next rotation off work!

Heroic mission should have stayed. I didn’t go after the catalyst because I was busy with work. I wonder if I’ll get 100% catalyst completion a week later than normal... or will they let late players play catch-up? Probably not since its bungie lol[spoiler]I’m not mad, though[/spoiler]

19 RepliesSorry but when they were obviously having problems yesterday with people sitting over two hours 14 cabal excavations back to back; and waiting until 1 AM the day of to inform people that will close in 12 hours as well as posting that from Twitter; And they see no need to extend it a little bit due to their screwup’s so this something radically wrong with that picture

Most of those complaints were referring to the 6 hours where taken public events wouldn’t spawn. It obviously doesn’t take long when “it’s working as intended “. The mars warsat was a pain. Good times

7 RepliesD1 Mars Sat happened any time. This Quest is only up on the Weekend for 2 days, like Xur is. So if you have 24 hours (assuming you game for 12 hours per day) and you waste 2 hours waiting for the chance to run it per time and take 3 to 4 attempts to do it, well that's your weekend. And this is artificial gating is SOLEY to stretch Bungie's thread bare content out, cause making content is hard. I will not be pre-ordering or ordering Forsaken unless Bungie stops this practice. Either make engaging content with replayability, or this is the end my Destiny Journey (D1 Beta Player on Xbox 360).

I had about 5 "kill the target" events before the warsat, and that was from waiting in the same area since that was the best way to do it

3 RepliesThe endless hours.. the countless Taken.. the amount I smoked & drank waiting on those events 😖 But.. when I finally got seen that public event incoming notification.. 😮 At least with Io you KNOW the location.. those warsats jus rng'd you in the rude place for hours on end 😂😋
