DON’T NERF GRAVITON!

Wait, before you start hating on me... Graviton lance is not overpowered, the problem is the other guns: Scout rifles taking 4 shots to kill??? Hand cannons 4 shots??? You take an eternity to take down your enemy, Glance allows you to score streaks and be way more versatile. Even without Glance the balance in Destiny 2 has always been terrible because the TTK is not right. The time that Glance takes is the most suitable to this game. The problem is that any other ranged weapon is weak by themselves. Please, weapon balance.

  • Dude, I cant agree with you more. Honestly, I would like to see guns MORE powerful than Glance. Let me explain. I hopped on D1 the other night specifically to play pvp with a friend JUST to see the time to kill difference. I feel like D1 does offer a much better PVP experience simply because of how fast paced it is and how m uch quicker you can kill your opponent. D2 feels more like Halo 2 when it comes to PVP. Therefore, if we buffed more guns to Glances' level we would have a faster TTK across the board, making it feel like a PVP experience instead of a PVPVE experience. I think thats the only thing I can say I need back from D1

  • 100% agree, handcannons should 3 tap, and other pulses should 3 burst as well. the 0.8 TTK is what we need.

      Agree!! Legendary weapon need a buff! Hand Cannon should be 3 tap ! 110rpm 1 headshot + 2 bodyshot ; 140 rpm 2 headshot +1 bodyshot ; 150 rpm 3 headshot ; 180 rpm 4 headshot but they should fire faster to be in line with the other archetype... I think the best deal should to go back with the same ttk we had in house of wolves!!!

              The guns ttk is fine. The problem is the flinch it causes and the rediculous aim assist. It's a crutch weapon that takes no skill. The weapon is where it should be in terms of stats. Maybe a stability nerf seeing that the second round doesn't have damage falloff with range. But a gun that doesn't have high caliber rounds or any perk that highlights flinch shouldn't be causeing more flinch than the mida from season one. Take away the flinch and a small amount of aim assist and u will see the weapon isn't far above others, it's just a gun that does all the work for the player.

                  God, I remember when the whiner brigade went off on the Clever Dragon back in Y3. I loved that gun and it was super fun to use. So, Bungie nerfed into obsolescence. The whiners were happy......for about a day, then started complaining about The Wormwood. Then it was No Land Beyond, then it was Ice Breaker, on and on and on. Not even mentioning the endless cries over The Matador. Then they bitched about grenades, supers, hunters, exotic armor, melees........ugh. The point is, nothing has changed. You will never satisfy these bozos. They will just find something new to complain about, while Bungie ruins the fun for other players. They are in the wrong game, but will never figure that out. You cannot build your loot based game on this type of crowd. That's exactly what Bungie did.....and results speak for themselves.

Lol I like using other guns, I don’t entirely suck ass and 7/10 don’t lose to the gun, but it’s foolish that more than half the community abuse the gun, I’ve tried it out and it’s definitely OP, but just like every destiny update cycle, this will get nerfed, and you fagggotss will find your next crutch op shit to abuse and claim y’all are good🤦🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️

                      • Bungie said they were going to bring other weapons up to Vigilance Wing instead of just nerfing. Well.... They brought Graviton over Vigilance Wing, and nothing else up to Vigilance Wing. Then... They gave Graviton a masterwork, which made it even more powerful, when it already was best weapon in the game. So... They still haven’t brought other weapons up to Vigilance and it takes months n months of reminding devs of their empty promises.

                          • Bungie stated not too long ago that they are no longer nerfing stuff. They will probably buff other weapons to bring them in line with Graviton.

                                • I agree, don't nerf Graviton lance and balancing weapons. 1. I finally completed the weapon upgrade yesterday Jul 11th, from the Dead Orbit's Faction Rally in June 2018. (That's Cosmo Kill milestone time to complete on Mars or Titian took forever. Grouping enemies close together for multiple kills with its void light. I wish knew how enemies we needed to kill to get the upgrade; the percentage does not do it justice. I estimate about 5000 or more group kills; am I close?) 2. Even with the new Range mod/perk, the Graviton Lance TTK (Time To Kill) takes 4 to 7 Critical Hits. (Depend if you opponent is already weaken.) But I have emptied a reloaded clip just to down an opponent in the crucible / iron banner where you should be able to down 4 or 6 opponents with a clip before reloading. ( 4 bullet hits* x 6 opponents = 24 bullets with 3 spare bullets in case you miss a few shots. [It's always nice to have a few spares :-) ] ) * assuming each hit is a critical hit
