Scott Peterson tells his side of the story. he thought the gunfire was coming from the outside because there where reports of firecrackers in the area. he got reports over the radio that there was a gunshot victim near the football field. he says he was doing what his training taught him to secure the area outside because he thought the threat was coming from the outside. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-43202800 I was watching a video today that said the coral springs police officers in that area entered the building. the coral springs department saw all 4 broward county officers waiting outside. when the coral springs department entered the building the broward county officers still stayed where they where. the coral springs department claims that the broward county officers NEVER went into the building. I believe there was a stand down by broward county police . this contradicts Scot Peterson 's story because the broward county police saw the coral springs police department enter the building but they never did. the coral springs police department is saying what broward police did was dereliciton of duty.
