There are lots of games with really great lore. Lately I've been finding Fallout lore super interesting. So I was wondering, what deep lore do you guys find intriguing?

Warcraft and elder scrolls. Hands down one of the most lore rich games ever.

1 ReplyI love Bloodborne’s lore! The only lore I’ve even come close to loving as much as Bloodborne is my lore, that I make for my writing. But that’s bias. I love hearing just about any theory out there, even ones that invalidate my own! It’s just such an amazing world!

Fallout and Elder Scrolls.

Halo Elder Scrolls Assassins Creed (although after 3 I didn't really stay up to date) Mortal Kombat

• Castlevania • DMC • Souls • Soulcalibur • Halo • Resident Evil* • Final Fantasy* • MGS* Honorable mentions: Warframe and Destiny. Too bad neither can get their shit together soon enough for me to continue being interested. *Don't play the games really, but their stories have always seemed interesting.

Edited by Rhynerd: 12/24/2017 7:13:38 AMDishonored lore I wish I knew more of Spiral Knights lore I wish there was more of Raiders has some cool lore too, although I probably shouldn’t talk about Raiders yet. Would Warhammer Fantasy count through it’s tie in games? It’s hard for me to pick a favorite, but one I can talk about easily is that of the Endless series. A story of a race that created so much, only to tear itself apart. Struggles of those who barely understand what remains of them, and the works of empires that seek to control what they have lost.

Destiny's lore is amazing. Rip in pieces the Grimoire. Also I really love the Dark Souls lore. Though it basically just tells us how shitty a father Gwyn was.

Destiny and souls

Been reading into Ark’s lore lately with the release of aberration. It’s cool, but fairly limited. Nonetheless I’m incredibly intrigued and I look forward to the next expansion

3 RepliesFallout: New Vegas. It blows the stories of 3 and 4 out of the water.

I think my name says it all
however I know much more about SW
4 RepliesI love the Destiny and Halo lore. Bungie knows how to make a deep universe. I would read Destiny books if it expanded on the stories of all the characters in the grimoire. I loved the Halo booke, especially the Forerunner trilogy. I'm interested in the Assassin's Creed lore, but I just don't understand it. I feel like it took a shit after Black Flag, because now why are we entering the animus now that Desmond prevented the end? What is Abstergo even looking for now?

I absolutely love destiny lore. Elder scrolls lore is also really good.

Halo's lord is insanely deep. The Precursors are very interesting.

Assassin's creed and fallout definitely (West coast lore is better than east coast though).
