Ghosts are not emotionless machines, and I really disliked Peter Dinklage's phoned-in (literally, in some cases) performance. Nolan North brought a great amount of character to our ghost that Peter's performance just didn't have. Nolan's ghost sounded just as in awe as us when seeing something new, and provided just enough comic relief to be funny, but not enough unintentional comic relief (WE'VE WOKEN THE HIVE) to ruin the mood. Even my friends, who didn't like him too much at first, warmed up to him after the khvostov mission, saying it was one of, if not [i]the[/i] most touching moments in the game. When Sagria just kind of took over our ghost I was a little disappointed. I thought there would be banter, and back and fourth about which ghost's guardian was the best one. Instead we got "Hey, you're pretty good..." and "Are you showing off to impress me? Because I already like you. 😳 " We didn't get the banter until right at the end, when we had already won, and it lasted all of two seconds before the cutscene ended. There's some funny back-and-fourth moments in the new Strikes, but honestly, I feel like not having both ghosts in the campaign was a missed opportunity.

2 RepliesI wouldn't mind having both. Nolan does a good job and her voice actor did a good job too. It'd be great if they were both living inside your Ghost's shell. The commentary would be epic. They'd just randomly start bickering while you kill shit, offer different opinions. Etc.

7 RepliesYeah. North needs to go that dude does such a shit voice. Our ghosts should have a “mute this whiny, prepubescent little man-child voice” option. Over 3 years I’ve been waiting for a ghost voice changer so I can “throw money at my screen” but nothing has ever been created. Bungie needs to hurry up and get on that.

2 Replieseh. She was basically female ghost. except her snark/crappy one liner meter wasn't maxed like normal ghost. but it was still pretty high. I really wish Bungie would invest time into making actual good characters. There is enough lore out there to support bad arse characters. We don't need throw away lines in physical form that consistently drop zingers because "LAWL JOKE"

There should be an option in the menu to change the voices, like Siri but less robotic sounding.

One thing I hate the most.............is having a mute guardian. A ghost speaking for him the whole damn time. Just get a voice actor next time. How about for dlc 2
