Have you noticed, Bungie only speak up and communicate when they want to sell you something?
The rest of the time they don't care. They will literally mislead, tell half truths, give vague hints to get your money.
After the dlc drop watch them go quiet again.
Are you reqdy for the 'it's christmas see you in a months time' as they all hide under their desks laughing their asses off at people running out of things to do after 2 days of the dlc.
Truth hurts.

13 RepliesI won’t even be getting the DLC, D2 is just so f’n boring I can’t play it anymore. The changes they talked about a couple days ago aren’t enough for me to drop another $35 on this pile of crap I’ve already wasted $60 on. I spent well over 2000 hours playing D1 on 2 different consoles and I gave up on D2 after about a month.

Yep. Bungie only breaks the silence when they know community anger might affect their DLC sales. Once the DLC releases, the silence of the grave returns. This is Y4 for this particular cycle...

5 RepliesWe all know what's going to happen with this DLC. Disappointment. This forum is going to burn again and they will go silent yet again. We'll maybe hear from them when they promote the Rasputin DLC and they'll promise to fix what they messed up in the Osiris DLC. They'll we'll get The Taken King 2. That'll probably be quite good and people will say 'that's what D2 should have been.' Then we'll get Rise of Iron 2 and that'll be not as good as Taken King. Then D3 will come out and we'll repeat the entire process all over again.

Maybe the managers might do that but I don’t think the actual programmers do. They’re there to build and create what’s been designed for them to put into the game by their managers and design team. Nothing more.

I would advise Bunnie to check out Epics Twitter feed for further clarification. It's all about the game with these guys and they haven't asked for anything in return other than your enjoyment playing their product. I throw money at the screen when I know the developer cares. I use the game disc as a frisbee when they do not.

2 RepliesThey'll go radio silent again. Throw some wampum and baubles our way and we sell out. All is forgiven. I have zero confidence in Bungie anymore. There are plenty here that will want to lay the blame on Activision, but Bungie is into making money too. It's a hell of a lot easier for them to produce an underwhelming FPS and package it as an RPG power fantasy by using our sentimentality regarding D1, than it is to produce what they sold us on in 2013. It's easier in the end to produce a dumbed down product for tweens with the attention spans of carrots than honor their marketing media of a 10 year franchise where we would become legends. I will continue to play on a limited basis because I'm an idiot and purchased the season pass. I doubt I will invest any more time or money in this franchise after DLC2 drops.
