Basically you all are just plain not thinking before complaining. How do you feel more powerful in a shooter when the enemies die in 1 second already? Remember people quit the Division because they didn't like that a New Yorker could take tons of bullets to the head? They didn't get that it was RPG first and shooter second. You all would react this way to Destiny as well. You don't understand that it's shooter first and RPG second as it always has been. Ps Love being called a sheep fanboy based on assumptions. Edit: I hear a lot of talk about, "why should I listen to some streamer/youtuber etc." If it were any other youtuber I would agree tbh. But most others don't put this much work, research, and testing into any of their vids much less all of them. So yeah I consider his opinion far more informed than any shitposting opinions I see here that have little basis in fact. Also ou guess assume from this one video somehow that he sucks Bungo off all the time. Far from the truth. He has hated on them at times no one else did and actually started doing that less often because of negative feedback from giving the game shit. So quite the opposite of what you all are accusing him of boundlessly. He speaks his mind on his true feeling of everything and forms his opinion based on logic and research. Everyone is entitled to their opinions, including streamers. You don't need to be informed to see what a mess D2 is. Just play the game. It is what it is, and getting worse with each senseless nerf.

I prefer to watch and listen to guys like Darkside Royalty Lore (Joker) and Timbo who tell it like it is, and aren't intimidated / or in bed with Bungie. They offer constructive criticism, thought, and praise where due. Granted, there's some unwarranted complaining here, but a good lot of the complaining are valid points.

Watched that video. Here is the deal he compared several times to D1 and in each of those comparisons he clearly you felt powerful there and why. Then he acts like that doesn't matter so if you want to believe him with his future riding on the future of the game go ahead but even in his video he discussed when we were powerful and why he just discounts it because he has to as that isn't ever returning and he damn well knows it.

2 RepliesBut in division I can go back to starting areas and completely demolish everything in my path with next to zero chance of dying "because I got stronger". In destiny, every enemy is relatively the exact same "threat" from the moment you first encounter them, unless they're way over your level but I'm speaking purely on an equal level basis. That is why we never "feel powerful" in destiny, the exact same complaint from D1 and bungies response is to remove levels from showing on enemies. Yes I know how damage scaling works and how it pertains to this game but why does it even need to be in the game if it's a shooter first?

2 RepliesNo, the problem is because the core gameplay loop feels like shit because they removed a third of it. We had shotguns snipers and fusions and more yellow bars/stronger red bars to use them on. Now we spend the entire game plinking away with primaries against weak red bars. We are fighting weaker enemies with weaker guns. I wonder why we feel weaker? Datto is a moron.

The way we can feel more powerful is by decreasing ability cooldowns and reducing the ttk in the crucible. Whilst datto does do some research he usually leaves some stuff out when talking about the community or misinterprets it
