The Seven Pillars of Design are the guidelines for Destiny's development, as told by Bungie. Somewhat of a mission statement, the pillars are intended to keep the team focused on the important concepts and ideas that make Destiny. The Pillars Pillar 1: A World Players Want to Be In Jason Jones: "This pillar really influenced us early in development. Is this world cool? Do I want to stay here? Do I want to learn more about it?” Joseph Staten: "One lesson that’s critical is that the most important stories we tell aren’t going to be told by us. They’re going to be told by players – their personal legends built from shared adventures.” Pillar 2: A Bunch of Fun Things to Do (after describing a three-man dungeon run in detail): Joseph Staten: “And just like that, The Dust Palace becomes part of my story. The breadth and depth of Destiny’s world encourages me to find my own adventures. It’s a place where I can leave my mark.” Pillar 3: Rewards Players Care About Jones explained how the game will have “a lot of great things to earn, find, and make,” reiterating that “everything you do in Destiny earns rewards.” Besides unique weapons, every piece of your kit will be your own, from your helmet to your cape to your armor pieces to your face. Their goal, he said, is to keep players coming back “day after day, week after week, month after month, [and] year after year.” Pillar 4: A New Experience Every Night Jason Jones: “Imagine you could spend an hour and accomplish something, but you get distracted from doing the thing you meant to do when you logged on. Every time you sit down to play Destiny you have a different experience than last time.” Pillar 5: Shared With Other People Jason Jones: “Everything that’s fun to do is more fun to do with your friends.'” Pillar 6: Enjoyable By All Skill Levels Jason Jones: "All core activities can be enjoyed by a novice player, that's not hard. What’s hard is keeping it interesting for your advanced players.” Pillar 7: Enjoyable by the Impatient and Distracted Jason Jones: “Players don’t want to work hard, they don’t want to read, and they don’t’ want to go to the Internet to figure out our bullshit.”

5 THINGS YOU REALLY NEED TO KNOW: 1. This DLC will contain no quality of life fixes that Barrett promised. 2. The DLC will now have guns and exotics we had from Destiny 1 locked behind a paywall. 3. The "New Raid Activity" will just be a reskinned VoG 4. DLC weapons will just be reskinned versions with very little changes that we already had. 5. Our Guardians still won't talk and all the questions that we had after the Vanilla Destiny 1 story still will not be answered; instead, we will be hinted at a new DLC in the Spring where they want us to fork over more money.

WTF... Really!?! Are you guys living in the land of Oz? Don’t answer that. We like Lost Sectors, but we want...what? Medallions? No, that’s not what we -blam!-ing want Strawman. We want our activities and time spent doing them to be worthwhile and valued, not to have -blam!-ing houses dropped on us like you seem to repeatedly do. Go ahead and keep skipping your ruby slipper wearing asses down the yellow brick road acting like your passed out in a poppy field. That’s about the only conclusion that I can come to is that you guys are smoking, injecting, or sniffing something because you seem to -blam!-ing happy about having a fan base that isn’t too -blam!-ing happy. Get off of the poppies and fix this damn game before you lose the rest of us. Once you lose us this time we are on the damn hot air balloon and out of this joint for good. No more Bungo tornados will suck us back in either. And by the way... We don’t want shit given to us, but we also don’t want to have to search for four -blam!-ing hours through chests for one piece of material to create an item and get it two weeks later. Value us and our time and we will back you.

We asked for strikes to be much more rewarding and for you guys to not touch heroic strikes and what do you do? - nerf heroic strikes even more - the slightest buff to strikes The buff is so little I’m pretty sure everyone will still be doing heroic events and lost sectors because the strikes are too damn long, tedious, and STILL unrewarding. You guys really have lost a few brain cells since D1 huh?

I want a refund on D2. I paid for the expansions and now regret it. You folks screwed up this game!

There is also no weapons in this game. 70% of the weapons suck. I miss my Hung Jury, Vision of Confluence and Fatebringer. I want weapons with that God roll.

Oh btw when I picked up my copy of cod ww2 even the game stop guys said d2 sucks ass! They don't even play it or tell people to buy it. Good job bungie.
