Late reply, but considering you played only year 1 you do did not play year 3 AoT. Many QoL improvements, 4 raids a week, Nightfall, REWARDING loot, tons of customization with perks, you felt powerful. Year 3 wasn’t perfect (Festival of the Cost, Crimson Doubles etc.)
