I keep seeing this everywhere, whether I agree or disagree I never see how they should be buffed and how that buff would bring them up to the tier auto’s and scouts are at which is disappointing.

  • I'll have a go at it, pulse rifles need a small damage buff in general, the higher the impact the greater the buff because as usual the faster firing ones edge out the slower ones in terms of ttk. The damage buff would be small enough so it didn't significantly change their ttk in general but enough to make them more consistent at their optimal ttk maybe allowing for some body shots in the mix, also allowing for damage drop off to not interfere with achieving that optimal ttk at a slightly further range than what we currently have. Solidifying their dominance over auto's at further ranges just before scout rifle range. Also they need to be more consistent at landing crits under fire, either increase their aim assist or reduce the amount of flinch you take whilst wielding a pulse rifle. This would go a long way to making them more viable at the range they should rule in. Recoil direction doesn't feel too bad in general except maybe Lincoln Green...but we don't want another grasp of malok era..do we?

  • Solid, making pulses flinch less in general would perhaps solve the high caliber rounds in general because then it would have a solidified counter.

  • Thank you, yes well apparently on paper pulses have good ttk's, but once you miss a couple of crits that makes you require to fire another burst which blows the ttk right up into a very uncompetitive time. Thats why they feel inconsistent and underpowered right now.

  • But WHAT value needs to be fixed? You can’t make either have a faster ttk so what can be done? Constructive ideas are better than whining

  • Accuracy/bloom on hand cannon, stability on pulse rifle. Damage does not need to change.

  • I agree with removal or at least change of bloom for hand cannons, not so much on the stability of pulses. Seems like a weak change easily solved by mods or different archetype. Reduce the spread maybe?
