Two weeks after release having no god roll perks to chase the game is boring as hell. Great job Bungie!!

The game is boring because it relies on grinding to increase its longevity. Rather than having a fun game of substance to play. For an "action shooter" it sure doesn't understand what that is.

I called that the reptile supply store in my town was going to close down. So I know exactly what kind of emotions you are experiencing

7 RepliesThey removed the randomized perks on purchasable weapons and armor in favor of preset perks for them, and randomized ways to acquire. It's basically the same system, just easier to balance and control.
-
2 RepliesSorry - I guess I am one of the few that thinks farming a single strike boss for hours just for a chance at RNGesus blessing me with a "GAWD ROLL!" weapon is not only a tedious chore, but a sad excursion in general. If you want, you can always go back to D1 and farm Omnighoul. I would rather play this game and enjoy myself.

2 RepliesMaybe you could mentor people through the raid if u got all the exotics, trials gear, raid gear, etc. If you've already done everything then y not give back to the community?
-
That sucks for you. I'm still having fun.
-
1 ReplySo you won't be around for factions? Or IB? Or the hard mode raid? Shame we could use more like you around.
-
1 ReplyStandardizing weapon perks was a necessity for the life of the game. One can write pages upon pages of why the old random perk system was ruining the game, especially pvp. The problem you are facing is due to the nature of loot games. Eventually, looting for some can get boring as the sense of getting rewarded with loot fades away. Not having perks isn't the issue here. A great number of people got bored relatively quickly with D1, each new dlc or update only invigorated the game for about a week or so until people came running to the forums to complain about not having anything to do in the game.

1 ReplyGood it comes down to the player now! That's great
-
7 RepliesI'm 304 and still not bored. Maybe if you were good at the game it wouldn't be boring
-
1 ReplyYou sound exactly how someone who is salty would
-
5 RepliesYou've played 50+ hours in two weeks. Not Bungies problem.
-
Meh. More enjoyable this way imo.
-
Short attention span
-
It got boring to you already? What do you do in games that don't have weapon rolls? You must be the kind of guy who buys a new game every 2 weeks because you can't keep your attention on a single game.

Trials Glory
-
Good for you? How many hours have you put in so far? I'm at about 25 or so and, like most players, have a ton of things to do still.
-
Maybe for you I can be 304 and I still have a ton of goals Get all raid and trials weapon and gear Get all exotics Get all armor for all planets Get higher light
-
1 ReplyI called it first.
-
Bungie should listen to this guy, he sounds smart and definatly knows to make an entertaining game for millions of players
-
I called Tyrone. He said wassup?

12 RepliesEdited by joey big guns: 9/20/2017 6:16:03 PMYes, great job Bungie. You went from show us a crap beta to actually delivering us something decent. Loot is good. Content is no worse than vanilla, and in fact has better opportunities for raising your power levels thanks to the new paths to gear. PvP is fun, even without my super bad ass powers. OP is just another one of those salty dogs who burns through content then complains because it "has nothing to do". Been three years and some of the " slower" guardians haven't learned. The learning curve is too steep for SOME people.
