And so it begins.... less than 24 hours
Here we are..... less than 24 hours until our next adventure. Man...... it's hard to believe I joined this community a few months after Taken King was released. I wish I would've started sooner. I kick myself for ever putting Destiny down like I had done when I watched it revealed for the first time at E3...... what was it?.... 2013? 2014?
I never was a Halo fan and I chalked Destiny up as nothing more than a restyle and never gave it a second thought. I owe it all to meeting one person who honestly loves Destiny more than anyone else I've ever met. Through her I was able to finally experience one of the best, if not THE best community gaming has to offer. This is the only game where I've met complete strangers and laughed until I cried at 3am whilst trying to defeat a boss like Oryx. This is the only game where I've met people who were not afraid to actually be people and not trolls. And most importantly, this game is my lesson to never judge a book by its cover. Or in this case, its developer's past.
Sure, I have my criticisms going in, but it all seems so irrelevant because somehow I know I'm gonna have a good time no matter what. This game has a special place in my heart now and I'm glad I gave it a shot. Forgive me, Bungie. See you all on the other side :)

I live in new zealand and it got delivered to my house at 9am (14 hours ago) I missed the post though because I care little for mornings, so have to pick it up tomorrow. Booooo!

Haha I'm a day one player and it felt very odd to say goodbye to the game yesterday, very definite! I have the physical disc preordered and I got a text it had been put aside, now if only class could hurry up!!!!

1 ReplyOne of my dudes dropped 3 (2lb 9 oz) bags of skittles (sent me a text saying check my porch) I got a freezer filled with pizza rolls and other junk snacks. Everyone needs someone to randomly drop 3 bags of for sure diabetes on there door step as that is real friendship.
