For whatever reason, any time a post shows any form of concern, criticism, bold predictions, opinion, or even suggestions  that are not in favor of destiny 2's formula, you will see replies saying "the destiny hate is real" I'm sorry but I can't just watch this happen. It is so easy to tell what a real hate post looks like. It often does not include any reasoning and will be almost entirely opinionated, that or the OP is just plain trolling For the people who do talk about the d2 model in opposition, i see plenty of awful comments telling them to stop bitching, go away, troll elsewhere, "if you hate the game, then leave". If we hated the game, we would not be here. We all want a piece of this game we love. You can't just not include us because it goes against what you like. That's incredibly selfish and honestly quite rude. There is plenty of room for discussion whether it be opinion, compromise, predictions, or criticism. There is no need to shun this part of the community who are really concerned with d2 we love the game too, some of us are just more vocal. Some of us show love in a tough way. Some of us are more willing to speak out when they feel left out. We all want to be a part of the community, it starts with the community itself actually being open to either side. I know for a fact that that it doesn't stop there, it starts with the community itself actually being open to either side. I know there are actually people who are upset with d2 that spout endless venom at those who leginamently like parts of the game (even those willing to discuss why). I've seen it, people who are so upset with the game, that they feel jealousy when people can find enjoyment, while they dont. While some of them may just be tired of it all, it's not excusable. This goes for people who are just plain jackasses as well. There are people that are really finding enjoyment in the game, be a good community member and listen to what they have to say, share your values so that you can undestand each other positions and each others argument so that we can reconnect as a community, don't attack them for finding enjoyment while you cannot. I encourage those who enjoy d2 to try this, and I hope those who don't enjoy d2 learn a lesson from the toxic, to be better and be a good destiny community member We have played a big part in splitting ourself, but bungie has just as much fault as we do Bungie needs to take a huge amounts of responsibility for their part, including being completely rude to the community, being silent on key variables, and poor moderation (cheaters and forum instigators). They need to do a better job managing the community, and it starts with acknowledging there's an issue to begin with. If they really want their fanbase to be on the same page as them, then they need to start actually caring about keeping it together I'm no saint in this either, I know I've had my fair share of bad moments, I take full responsibility for some of my mixups. I'm not referring to when I disagree with someone, Or challenge their views, I do that because that's what a community is supposed to do to connect and bring the gane foward. I'm talking about when debate turns to informal bickering. I'm not always the one to start the shoving, but I have done so enough times to feel the need to pin enough blame on myself and to admitt to my wrong doing No matter the side you are on. Be open, be respectful, and most of all, keep it clean. If we want a better community everyone has to do their part.
