Who else is still going to play 1 when 2 comes out?
Seems like a bit of a waste to completely abandon all the work you put into your characters. I'm sure there's people out there just like me who have gear that's nigh impossible to obtain nowadays and some loose ends left still to tie up, that and you're gonna come back to use your machine guns they've decided not to add into the second one. I don't know that's how I feel about it anyway, feels like a waste to move on completely after putting so much time into the game

I'll still play it after I've romped through D2 but it's gonna be a while. Just remember people: save some of your favorite weapons just in case they leave 'em behind in a future DLC 😉

Lol Destiny 1 will go back into its metal coffin in the taken king Collectors box, as it has deserved slumber for far too long.

Doesn't bother me loosing the gear, put the hours in the game because it was fun. If it wasn't for friends trying to get raid sorted the game would already be un-installed.

If D2 sucks I'll be back before the shit hits the ground. I mean seriously I'll be playing both because I'm not finished with the first game for all it problem I still keep coming back

They're just going to tank the meta of Destiny 1 even more to make playing it not fun. It's better than what happened with COD games though, where cheats magically happen to the older COD when a new COD is released.

Absolutely, of course this largely depends on the quality of Destiny 2. Honestly if D2 is as slow as the beta and GG does not get combustion its going to be Destiny 1 for me. Im just so freaking pissed off I dont get to bring some of my gear and weapons with me. All this playing and grinding all for nothing. I'd rather have been kicked in the balls tbh

Nope, and here is why. I love destiny, It had me from hello.... I've never played a game that grabbed my attention and said "listen here butthead, you're gonna sit right here and play me cause you won't be able to put the controller down" and low and behold it was right! I can't recall how many times my wife shouted I'm goin to bed and my reply was "goodnight" only to get chewed out when I climbed in bed an hour or two later!! But alas she didn't mind! (Good on her!) Destiny has run its course for me, I had a hard time getting raid teams and such to complete a lot of the endgame so I kinda gave up on that altogether. I'm just tired of doin the same thing! I'm anxiously waiting D2, so I can hear the "I'm goin to bed" song once again! I'm also not going back because none of it makes a difference now, which is sad. Until September 6th Gaurdians!!! SEE YOU STAR SIDE!!!

I will still play it for sure, but only after I feel I'm in a good place with gear in Destiny 2. Gotta try to finish those books and quests!
