Please, remove forced PvP from Exotic Quests or Quests that are necessary to unlock content. I do not like PvP on any game. Just not my thing. As a consequence, I missed out on several Exotics and Sparrow Racing all together in Destiny 1. Would love to avoid that exreme aggravation in Destiny 2. Thanks.

I've never had trouble with any of the PvP quests, but I do think they shouldn't have quests where you can lose progress.

so basically chaperone was rhe only one that most people would have struggled with

Edited by Zuper Greek: 7/29/2017 2:38:19 AMPart of exotic quests is that they should be challenging and make you participate in all aspects of the game. Do not dumb down exotic quests for the rest of us that are fine with it just because it's "not your thing." Some of us actually like a challenge and want to feel like we earned it instead of just having it handed to us. I mean really. If I pay 60 bucks on a game, I'd like some replay value in the form of doing side/special quests.
-
I think certain exotics are designed for PvP and as such should have some PvP elements on the road to obtaining them

2 RepliesThere are lots of people who enjoy PVP ( I'm a PVE player mostly ) but I dont mind doing crucible for quests to get exotics. If you dont enjoy it or want to put the effort into it than you dont get the weapon its as simple as that. So you think that becuase you dont like something its better to ruin it for everyone else? There is nothing hard about doing the crucible quests especially now you just have to put the effort into doing it. Stop being lazy and try harder if you want something in the game instead of having it dumbed down so you can get it.
-
I think they need more pvp exotic quests that require no pve content.
-
1 ReplyWell there's also people who don't play PvE and don't do raids so you also saying we shouldn't have those either? Think things through before saying them

😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

2 RepliesYou would then have to remove any exotic quests that involve PvE as some people don't like PvE. Just suck it up and realize you may not be able to collect everything if you refuse to play everything.
-
4 RepliesThe best balance would be "either/or" eg: Complete 10 clash matches or 10 heroic strikes Either Kill 100 opponents in pvp or 1000 enemies in NFs Think that would be a better option as you can play to your strengths without it feeling like too much of a ball ache
-
I would like to see options where you can kill 100 majors or ultras (ultras are 15) in way x or you can kill 50 guardians in way x that way PvE and PvP can be satisfied simultaneously
-
1 ReplyI guess PVP player don't mind losing a match. imagine if a non pvp player die several times and you lose the match all because they are trying to complete a exotic quest requirement.
-
1 ReplyGit gud scrub?
-
14 RepliesWhat exotics would those be?
-
1 ReplyI don't understand. Forced PvP quests? No one is forcing anyone to do anything in this game. If you want something then how are you getting forced to do it? It's like saying "I wanna buy a house but the bank is forcing me to work to pay for it!" If you want something then you do what needs to be done to get it. If you are complaining that you are being forced to do things that you don't want to do to get it, then you don't really want it, do you?
-
6 RepliesIt is not forced you moron, just dont do it. Why on earth would you play a game with pvp but have no interest in pvp? Maybe this game isnt for you.
-
I think there should be a balance. Because someone who is largely a PvP player might feel the same way about having to switch to PvE as you do to having to switch to PvP. (I'm just making assumptions for a scenario). Unfortunately you can't please everyone but you gotta provide opportunities/activities for each player type.

5 RepliesWhat about forced PvE Exotic quests for primarily PvP players?
-
I feel the same way dude, not my thing either cause I'm not good lol
-
personally i think all quests should stay in pve, due to depth of lore and story that would build the game to be better. but if they do have pvp related aide they should have it like a record book in which you can open either the pvp quest or pve quest. or you can chain points to get a certain ammount to get the exotic: example pvp is 20 points and pve is 20 points, only 10 points are needed to complete it
-
Quite frankly there are many who hate delving into pve for exotic quests as well. If this is to be changed it needs to cater to both sides
-
1 ReplyIt's called Balance. It's a Bungie thing. Good luck with that. I did, however, like what another post suggested to give the choice to pursue it via PVP or PVE.
-
Hmmm. Judging by the trend of the comments, many would be happy for the two to be totally separated. Any others like that? Apart from the zillions who have already said they would, that is.
-
I'm sorry, but that is a silly request. That's like asking them to change the requirements of a mission or an achievement because you're not into doing whatever it is they've tasked you with doing. Just think of how many PVE exotic quests there are that die-hard PVP players had to trudge though (it's one of the few instances that PVP players might actually get the raw end of the deal if they truly don't enjoy PVE). Variety is the spice of life, guardian...

2 RepliesWhat do you mean you missed out on sparrow racing?
-
Within the game I believe pvp was created to improve guardian combat skills to aid in fighting our enemies. I think guardians who participate in this activity should be rewarded special exotics. They are proving their desire to constantly improve to help them defeat our enemies. Just as pve exclusive exotics exist I think pvp exotics should also exist. I don't care for pvp but I think there is a place for rewarding those who grind away in the crucible.
