Think again. What you get in the beta is what your gonna get on release day. Don't hate me, I'm just giving that warning a lot of us didn't get before destiny 1 came out.
Ok let me clarify abit for these special needs people on here. This is a "W A R N I N G" to basically the noobs who didn't experience the disappointment after destiny was released.
This is not for the geniuses who believe everything they read. ✌

So what we're going to get is an outdated build that they used for the beta and that isnt anything like the builds they've been showing in the IGN trailers... Yeah sounds about right
-
So what we got in beta is the game? So what I get from what you are saying is that we only get the home coming story mission, no raid and the strike and 2 crucible playlists. Obviously the beta will change. It's a way to get early feedback on a game. That is at least a significant reason a beta exists imo. And with the amount of people saying TTK needs to be fixed, etc. I am positive that there will be changes between the end of the beta and release.

soooo....... Nerf Fusions? Roger That.

6 RepliesI didn't play the beta much at all because I was so disheartened by the "freedom" loadout in pve. So bummed. I love D1 and my enthusiasm for D2 has been completely squashed.

Edited by BodyWr3k: 7/26/2017 1:20:24 AMHonestly never really gave the game much of a chance because I was so upset with the new weapon system. I shut off the beta on the 19th after 3-4 hours of playing and never touched it again until today. I decided to give it another shot but this time with a different mind set and surprisingly I started having fun. After looking at the mod slots and noticing mods can have different rarities and all the other customizations I really believe there's a lot bungie isn't showing us. The story I also think is going to be great. It was the one thing even when I played on the 19th that I really liked from the beta. Every time I played the story mission I loved it. I started deleting characters so I could play it again. I don't blame anyone for being skeptical after the release of Destiny 1 because I am one of the skeptics. But from how polished the game looks I'm trying to remain hopeful that bungie will deliver. If they adjust supers, abilities, power ammo and weapon damage I think it can be salvaged.

7 RepliesSo what you're saying is destiny 2 is going to be 1 strike, and 2 pvp modes. No wonder everyone keeps saying they're going to cancel their preorder!

2 RepliesEdited by tom014tom: 7/23/2017 9:52:06 PMFeels like bungie are doing a mass effect andromeda with d2 was excited about the beta played it for an hour and couldn't stand it got bored went back to d1 and started enjoying the game again if the beta and all the new stuff was any good I would have played it for hours and enjoyed it really disappointed will not be getting d2 at release I do not trust bungie to fix this
-
5 RepliesStory beta mainly indoors with added particle effects to make you think it'll be different Strike has 0 detail compared to story mission Control the same 4v4 only pvp 30 FPS And it took me 3 tries to get 2 others in a strike who were actually playing and not just Titan jumping around at spawn. 2014: Destiny is held back due to the legacy consoles, just wait for the sequel! 2017: Destiny 2 is just DLC, u mad bro? No thanks, Bungie. I'm picking shooters with 60 fps and dedicated servers. You can keep your outdated game, I'll keep my money.

2 RepliesAnd here we have a classic example of a pessimist.
-
1 ReplyI don't trust Bungie in implementing changes/fixes identified in the beta just like they did with D1. Aside playable content, we can expect weapons to function the same upon release as they do now in the beta. "Bungie" and "balancing" don't go in the same sentence.
-
6 RepliesThe beta is months old than the current build. Go watch the new D2 IGN exclusive sneak peek and it will shut you up
-
You're a -blam!-ing Moron. How about you learn some grammar and -blam!- off Destiny. Glad I won't see you in D2 👏👏
-
4 RepliesNo because this is the finished product. The game comes out in two months. It's to late to fix the major problems. It's to late to put snipers back into the secondary slot. To late to fix the slow nova blob. To late to one up with a new solar class for the warlocks, to late for a new electric class for the hunter. To late for the major fixes.

I pray every night

1 ReplyBad bait

1 ReplyThe beta is an older build of the game, and a lot of the changes that we want made have already been made.
-
Did you play post patch 1.04 yet?

3 RepliesLol wrong

1 ReplyOmg how many times do we have to go over this ... but one more time for the people right at the back .... this beta was an old build ... months old .... they have already changed most of the stuff people are complaining about .... they left them in the beta to clarify that the changes they had already made where right ... and from the amount of salty feedback we all read on here they must have been spot on lol
-
1 ReplyThis is for you. Laughing at you, not with you btw.
-
I thought this was a Destiny DLC beta?
-

4 RepliesSee why do people like yourself spew so much crap do you even read the updates because alot of PVE issues have already been addressed if you open your eyes and actually read what they say.
