Didn't notice or have any effect on my pve experience. I've been an avid hand cannon user since day one ( check my stats ) and haven't used much of anything else. That said, even with all of the nerfs to Hand cannons ( which outside of shottys have problem been nerfed more than anything else ) I can honestly say my experience with the game hasn't been worst or better as a result.
I just play the game, maybe I adjust automatically I don't know but I've never been playing the game, with all of my playtime, and been frustrated or felt any type of way about any of the "balancing" bungie has done that's affected pve.
Game is still relatively easy, even in end game content with the right people so I don't know what the fuss is about

Then you either didn't play in Year 1. Or have been sleep walking through the game. Our guardians----are SUBSTANTIALLY weaker in every way----than we were in Year One. I got back Vision of Confluence this week as a raid drop in VoG----despite having been slightly nerfed (Field Scout and Perfect Balance) form its Y1 power levels. ...I was SHOCKED at how much more powerful and how vastly better it performed than Y3 scout rifles. In a game up to its tits in really good scout rifles. The "fuss" is about FUN. Which is why PVP players "fuss" about weapon balance. Lack of balance sucks the fun out of PVP. . POWER DRAIN sucks the fun out of PVE in a loot-based RPG.

I didn't say the Nerfs made the game "hard." I still use the weapons I like when I want to use them (with some exceptions). But the Nerfs have made PvE less fun, and is that not the point of a game, to have fun?
