I'm upgrading the warlock, which subclasses are the most useful for raids in order
I've been a Titan since day one and am expanding my horizons. Starting to grind out upgrading subclasses. I was thinking of not even upgrading the sunslinger. I still have to do my hunter. Which subclasses are most beneficial for the raids?

Sunsinger with radiant skin Tf Vk and fusion grenades for dps. Self Rez if you're not very good

Coming from a Warlock main who plays mostly PvE: 1: Sunsinger 2: Stormcaller 3: Voidwalker

2 RepliesAlso if you ever see catapult, sunsingers with sunbreakers is always the best dps, does over half a bosses health on any strike in one radiance (not fireborn)

Void walker is pretty ridiculous with the right set up. Heal melee, and embrace the void with nothing manacles, you won't need self res.

Sunsinger has the most benefits, such as self revive and over shield. Or if you want to be a true team player, run storm caller 😂

1 ReplySunsinger Storm caller Voidwalker Sunsinger is great for self Rez, and if you use touch of flame and Viking funeral grenades on bosses your whole team can do extra damage. Stormcaller is the master at clearing ads in raids which can be very useful. Voidwalker can regen health but there isn't much else that's useful for raids.

Sunsinger will always be the best for PvE, its always good to be able to stay alive and not bring your team down with a death. Stormcaller is the best for areas with a lot of enemies, and good for protecting your team. Voidwalker is good for a small group of enemies, and the constant regen perks always help. Its more of the for-fun super, but still useful.

2 RepliesAll three are good, but I'd recommend Sunsinger and Stormcaller the most. For Vault of Glass: Sunsinger. The ability to stay alive as well as do high level boss damage is really good in every encounter here. For Crota's End: Stormcaller. There are no DPS phases in this raid, but tons of adds. Thus, Stormtrance is brilliant here and the only thing you should run. For King's Fall: Sunsinger or Stormcaller: There are sections (Golgoroth) where Stormcaller is incredibly useful, and Sunsinger is great to do boss damage and prevent wipes. For Wrath of the Machine: All three: Sunsinger is best at Vosik to stay alive, Stormcaller is practically a necessity at the Siege Engine and Voidwalker is good for quick damage at the Aksis Challenge. Don't use Sunsinger unless you're really unconfident at Aksis. Self resurrection messes up Empowerments.

It depends on what you want, if you want to survive you could go self rez or you could go voidwalker. Personally I like voidwalker because of life steal and giant explosions, when it comes to explosions, the only one more simple minded than me is Michael bay. PvP can be whatever, stickies are amazing and overpowered, extended stormtrance makes bladedancers piss their pants, and voidwalker again, just massive explosions. You really should try out all of them to the fullest because they all have their moments. For Stormcaller, it can be great in vog for crowd control while blocking teleports. Voidwalker is the best in WoTM by far, not much that kills you (except lag) and the nova bomb ensures a clean captain kill or 50 k extra to aksis. I hope you can find your place in the warlock society and show how we are truly the most powerful. Also if you ever want to go flawless just get a group of 3 sunsingers with starfire protocol, max discipline and intellect, and self rez.

For Raids I'd have to say the Sunsinger there ressurection ability is very useful Now for PvE either the Stormcaller or the Voidwalker personally I'd have to go with the Stormcaller because it last longer.

Sunsinger (Boss Killer)- Overall best contributor with a focus on bosses. Builds can range from solar grenade spammer to orb machine. Can lay good area damage out to help with adds and can melt bosses very well. Stormcaller (Add Killer) - Primarily an add killer and based on their super. They won't help with bosses but the rest of the team can do that while this guy wipes adds. Voidwalker (Well Rounded) - Probably best overall subclass but lacks a real strength. This sub can clear adds and help with the boss just can't do either as well as the others. On the plus side it isn't held down to one role either. Just my 2 cents

It depends on the Fireteam. No team wants all same classes or miss one. Perfect team would be 2 of each.

1. Sunsinger(mostly heroic raids due to not being able to get revived.) 2. Stormcaller(useful for clearing large amounts of adds quickly.) 3. Voidwalker(could be useful if you aren't doing enough damage to the boss.)

Voidwalker for quickly obliterating tough targets like Captains, Knights, and Minotaurs with Nova Bombs. Stormcaller for mass crowd control with Stormtrance.

I have all three characters... so for warlock definitely sunsinger and stormcaller

sunsinger and stormcaller. self res allows you to re spawn after dying in a hm raid, and storm trance is great for dealing with large groups of ads. voidwalker has nova bomb, which is a harder-to-use, ranged, and purple version of a fist of havoc, but the other two subclasses are just much better to use in pve.(especially sunsinger)

1 ReplySelf res and solar grenades never wronged a warlock. Void walker for easy health regen makes great for crota, powerful grenades, and lance the oversoul for fun. Stormcaller for supreme area control and add control, pulse grenades plus chain lightning perk and Transcendence for healing. Over all sunsinger is better for hard mode, but voidwalker has a better neutral game for living.

It depends which raid really, sunsinger I would say overall because self res, but I like voidealker for Croats ends and wotm to kill weapon bearers.
