has anyone tried the ghost recon wildlands beta yet?
I tried getting on before but i couldn't log in. How is it so far?

I would like a Recon/Attack mode command, similar to the one in GRAW. For those that don't know, this makes it so that your team either waits for attack orders or shoots on sight. Also, friendly AI appearance and load out customization is a [b]must[/b]. The lack of squad customization really breaks the immersion at times. Edit: The Xbox Elite controller really comes in handy for this game. Having those extra buttons really helps out.

Just not fun, has nothing going for it, the missions we played were just flat out boring, might give it another try although one of my mates has already deleted it.

Some of the controls seemed wonky. Didn't seem to stand out for me. Might give it another go this weekend, but with horizon zero and Zelda coming next week, I'm in not rush to pick up another game.

3 RepliesI played it all day yesterday. The over the shoulder camera needs work. The driving wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I grabbed a motorcycle as much as I could. The ai is horrendous. It got to the point where I would leave them outside and clear a base myself. Marking targets and having the ai kill them worked good. They just kept getting spotted if we rallied up. I will be buying the game and my brother and I will show Bolivia what's up.

Fun game but not enough to grab me. I never felt like I was going after something other than a new weapon or part. All the weapons you start with will suffice anyway. I played all story missions on the hardest difficulty with my brother and friend. We had a good time, but that's all I want to play of it. My friend hasn't made up his mind, but I'm sure my brother won't buy it either.

1 ReplyThey straight up weren't kidding by saying Montuyoc was difficult, IT'S A 5 STAR AREA!!! I haven't played it yet, but I did make my character. Otherwise, Closed Beta was fun exploring out of map.

I think it's really good. It's my first Ghost Recon so I don't know how it compares with the others, but I've enjoyed it. It feels a lot like Just Cause 3 mixed with MGSV and The Division (mechanics-wise)

5 RepliesI'm liking it a lot more than I thought. I have been playing on the second hardest difficulty and it feels like the old Ghost Recon games on the PS2. The gameplay and exploration is very nice, but cars control a little weird and not being able to move the camera from your left shoulder to the right(and vise versa) without finding cover annoys me.

I'd rather have it stop switching from left to right every time I enter cover. [spoiler]I don't understand why people compare this to the division. It's nothing like that. And since the game has no pvp aspect, there won't be any unbalancing patches or anything. It's just single player or coop campaign. :/[/spoiler]

If you played closed beta it's gonna be generic to you. If you have not its gonna be fun. Gonna be playing it with friends tomorrow cause i never got the chance to play closed beta and my friend could not get the codes the others since they failed on him.
