Crotas Bane... worth it or not?
Kind of want to level up crotas bane to see if you get anything worth while or simply just new... anyone level it up and get anything?

It's really not worth it and that's part of the problem with this game. Bungie seems to love making activities/factions/raids/guns/armour ect ect obsolete. They do the same with every DLC, we pay for new stuff, yet they make the old stuff (that we've paid for also) obsolete, which is basically stopping the game from growing as every time we gain an activity, we lose an activity. This game imho would have had a much longer life, if Bungie would drop this stupid habit of taking away stuff away, that us customers have paid for. I paid for CE and all following DLC's, I should still be able to play them without having to drop light levels ffs.

Chance of getting it to drop from hard crota is way to low considering as its for an obsolete weapon. Also faction rewards should level with the player, a level 400 player should get 400 light packages not 385.

1 ReplyWarlock rank 33 Titan rank 42 Hunter rank 13 Was only worth ranking up for artifacts for the first 2 weeks when the light level rose to 400. Most of this is from doing Crota solo when I'm drunk.

No, especially since the reason most people did it was to get that -blam!-ing orb.

Actually would be interest to see what would happen if you ranked up your Titan since it's only Rank 1. There were emblems and shaders that unlocked once you reached rank 1 and up to rank 4. Curious to see if these are still available in the reward packages. I remember grinding my ass off to hit rank 3 for the Blade of Crota emblem before they made the changes to the rep points awarded on the Crota's Bane bounties.
