I am a Striker and I am not ashamed. Everyone bashes strikers running with jug shields and shotguns, but I am one of those who do EXACTLY that. Although the hate will flow through all of you reading this, this is the way I played shooters since Day 1: shotgun to the face. I detest sniping.
To all those that up to this day haven't figured out how to counter this strategy, I say get better. I've been juked and outplayed many times, and to those players, congrats!!
To all those who understand and use this strategy, go ahead!! This is what I used in every other game and it has been a blast since.
Stop complaining. I know it s frustrating, but getting sniped is even worse. Fellow shotgun users, I say...

If I see one charging, I try to jump over them. Still I could use spike grenade to hinder them or smoke.

Sunbreaker main but I like to use striker every now and then. Shoulder charge all day though. I tried juggernaut once and didn't like it.

Running around with universal remote and a jug Shield is the only way I'll get the best around metal and go negative. Not always of course but it has happened a few times. One thing that makes shotgun in so effective is a large number of players like to sit and Camp traffic Lanes. If you're moving really really fast with a shotgun you can completely break up their passive play style I think Hunters are probably the easiest class to get a high kd and or void-walker

No problem at all with Titans or shotguns. This Stormtrancing Warlock is able to deal with both nicely. Besides, you may well have pulled my biscuits out of the fire a few times. And I've returned the favor, as well, going Emperor Palpatine when you've nearly been swarmed under.

I like the jug shotgun players they are the easiest to kill and usually come out with as many deaths as kills I'm not saying that's everyone but

4 RepliesSame. I'm a Titan and depending on my mood I'll either pop a bubble and chill in the back or run around shot gunning faces and shoulder charge everyone. Hell Sometimes I don't even shoot, just shoulder charge the whole match and ya know what? I'm having fun and that all that matters. I'm a warlock, although I would probably fair better as a Titan, shotgun to the face is my strategy. The thing is I do not use it as my primary, I use my primary as my primary. That's the way it should be.
