IB is awful
Every single game dominated by lag and shotgun suicide runners and campers... worst I've seen it in a long time.
Edit: to add insult to injury the news update has a picture of a guardian with a matador aimed at you. Seriously??
Edit: you would think with millions of players all paying $30+ at minimum for this product and considering its general success, that bungie could afford a modest 10 story high rise in downtown Seattle to house dedicated servers for their game??? Hahahaha...

1 ReplyIt's been a combination of either crazy laggy lobbies or super sweaty teams. Solo-queuing was ok but I hate destiny pvp without at least someone to share the salt with so ran mostly with guys from my clan. Don't know whose elo was attracting the team's we were matched up against but I sure as hell know it wasn't mine. Some games I just tried to stay out the way because I would spawn, turn corner and run into 2-3 running in a pack. We tried to stay together but it was a shooting gallery most games. Can honestly say I didn't learn anything or improve my own game in any way by getting curb stomped repeatedly. Not the best IB.

Since there are no longer packages, I do the bounties and quit. But since I already have all the guns I care about with a roll I'm happy with (unbent tree, distant star, clever dragon) the only gun I need is the titanium orchid with g&h. But on my 2nd match, I got one and stopped playing there. I call this the "get it and quit it". Where you get the gun you want with a god roll or a roll you are satisfied with, and stop playing iron banner because you are tired of it.

Haven't noticed much of that but then again I'm using a fusion rifle as got thorn bounty so multi tasking but haven't been killed too many times by those aforementioned things

I didn't even entertain the idea of playing IB this go around. The loot is unappealing. Also, I've been experiencing regular amounts of lag in normal crucible. I already knew what to expect in the Iron Banana. Plus, clash is a terribly campy game-type.

3 RepliesPlayed a bit, was mostly fine...saw a handful of red-bar teleporters, and a smattering of 'invincibles'...but the one thing that was noted was how many times my weapons fired marshmallows- especially my snipers; I switched to different ones to see if problem repeated - and it did! For example: - 3x body shots at mid- to close range on a closing target - no effect. - Headshot (certain) + bodyshot at midrange - no effect. - Palindrome/ Eyesluna - head- and bodyshots at close range - no effect. - Immobius at pointblank range x 3-5 shots - no effect. - Etc... It also happened with a range of other primaries, e.g., Parthian / Hawksaw / Mida / etc. All of the a/m occurred later in my day (GMT+8hrs) so it might have a lot to do with being matched with players stationed on Pluto or beyond. QED. Otherwise, quite okay. Some really good and close matches were fun...even with my marshmallow-guns... Did the bounties, got loads of stuff I don't need...and as my vault is at max capacity- it got burned. The two weapons are pretty meh, so nothing to chase after there. Game-time waiting/joining was pretty swift - mostly 6 vs. 6, with an occasional 3-4 vs. 4-6. End of report 🤖

Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out and break their grip on Freehold.
