Ok, so the clever dragon archetype and the Matador archetype have just been nerfed. The size of the Juggernaut shield has been reduced to only cover the shoulders to the knees. All that Nerf has done is create a new meta. People will whine and cry until the new meta has been nerfed. This continues in a loop. This reminds me of a quote from Albert Einstein after World War Two, which goes something like this, "I know not which weapons World War Three will be fought with, but World War Four will be fought with sticks and stones." World War Three is the period of time after the current meta changes. World War Four is the period of time where our guns tickle people. The only solution I see to this problem is your mindset. The current meta should not be treated as something that is ridiculously over-powered and needs to be nerfed immediately, but as a chance in the spotlight that will last until the next balance patch. After the balance patch, a new archetype will have its chance.

Embrace the meta young one, make it yours and dominate, or surpass it and dominate anyway! Seriously the current PvP is not so unbalanced than you say. There is not only ONE weapon dominating, randomly available only to some lucky people (Suros Regime, Red Death, Vex, Thorn, Hopscotch/Messenger... metas, remember?). The good weapon archetypes are easily available to everybody, and you can perform well even with "non-meta" weapons if you work a bit on your map awareness, movement, placement and strategy...

This community has dug this grave with their requests for various nerfs and buffs. Enjoy the salt you dumped on yourselves. Every -blam!-ing exotic that was useful in PvP was targeted for nerfs because of the "Meta" at the time. Every primary archetype was nerfed because of the "Meta" at that time. The community has evolved to pick the meta itself, and then complains about what it created.

The real problem is the lag meta... People need to buff their fűcking routers.

Theres always a meta and always this problem. Its impossible to balance it out with out destroying variety

Ive said it and ill say it again, hand cannon meta was the best this game has seen after the nerfed thorn just enough to where it wasnt ridiculous yet was still relevant. Stats show there were more shotgun kills during that meta than snipers by a few times more. So the sniper nerf was just salt in the wound. There was still flinch but with all these clever dragons running around theyre almost unusable. I watch people map each other with matador all the time. Then i see people getting killed by thunderstrike from the range of the matador. I really want to know whose idea it was to give the longest melee character in the game an extended melee perk. Hmm dumb maybe? Ive never died to primaries as fast, yet they cant stop a jug titan from reaching you at mid range. It makes no sense. Latency issues are absolutely ridiculous in this game too. I die more around corners than i have ever seen in a game. Fusion grenades take a 90° turn mid air to attache to someone, yet bounce off their head because god knows why. Matchmaking pairs you up with horrible teams yet somehow the opposite team is stacked. Doesnt make much sense how i can get a 10.0kd in one match them get a .4kd for 10 games straight. Probably due to their dwindling player base. Then trials... smh used to be fun... used to. I used to love this game but it seemed to me that with every update they put out they just added a hole to their already sinking boat and now they have a solo cup trying to get the water out. Lord i hope they dont make the same mistakes on destiny 2. Because now i have to wait till its out for 3 months and then read reviews. Rather than being able to already say its gonna be a good game. Needless to say that if money is the motive, theyre going to be sorely mistaken if they dont start producing a quality product. Im the last to want to buy another vanilla destiny then spend $60 on an unfinished game then the season pass for $40 just to find out that those parts were barely worth what was paid. Then spend another $80 dollars on 2 more additions just to stay relevant in a game that they break even more every time they touch it.

It's honestly funny to watch people cry for a nerf to the clever dragon but they are ignorant to the fact the grasp of mallok and waltz will be nerfed with it...

I remember when this one kid told me I had no skill when I used the chaos dogma simply because it was a 3 tap. What made me burst out laughing is when I inspected him he was using clever dragon and a matador 😂 This community is so toxic

There will always be a meta, newsflash. Don't always blame your downfalls on weapons and subclasses. The next weapon's patch will roll through and you'll find something new to complain about.

The real problem is the extreme aim assist in this game. They've made it so easy to get headshots, that pvp has nothing to do with skill, and everything to do with your loadout.

Agreed. Crazy how I pulled out the clever dragon in trias this weekend and it made the game so much easier. Everything else is trash in comparison. Also, shotguns need a minor adjustment. No one uses a primary anymore in this game it's pathetic. Rumble is the biggest joke right now.
