Am I the only person who disliked the force awakens?

3 RepliesIt was not bad. It was just had too many similarities to A New Hope that got some thinking negatively about it. Others were stupidly put off by a supposed race agenda being forced upon them with Finn. Then some others were upset that a female turned out to be the Force wielder. Once they posted those views on the internet, other band wagoners joined in and turned it into a supposed storm of outrage. But outside the similarities, it was not a bad Star Wars installment. It's not top 3, but it's mid pack. For me personally, I did dislike the too many A New Hope parallels, but more over I disliked Kylo Ren. He is not the dark lord that we deserve. He just is not intimidating at all. Playing dress up like Grandpa, does not make him a dark side lord.

It was jedo propaganda at best and a money grab at worst. I don't blame the cast so much as the story.
