dumb idea as i don't really care but i'd like to inject some logic here: people say kenya because that's where his father was from as well as where part of his family currently resides.

I actually didn't know his father was from Kenya. Regardless people stereotype. He's black so some people assume he isn't from Anerica.

TBH he did spend some time living with his grandparents and relatives in kenya after college and has a famous picture of the village cheering him on as he learns to use a russian AK74. that's where the myth comes from.
