We all are seeing what's going on or what's not going on with banning the cheaters!
Also, expect Bungie representative/s of some sort to give some dribble drabble about how they ban cheaters, blah blah blah. You know how they do to try to shut people up from saying too much to rock the boat!
EDIT 4: I'm at work right now (on break) and I was thinking, doesn't Lag slow a player down? I know Lag doesn't speed you up!
So for those who have stated about red barring is all Lag and not cheating, then why aren't the gamers who are Lagging walking instead of running in the Crucible? I have experienced Lag myself and it's pretty unplayable.
I remember playing Star Trek Armada 1 and 2, I think those games were by Activision, what are the chances? Anyway, when there was too much activity going on you would Lag. It was very slow! It didn't go fast at all!
So, if all these players aren't cheating, but Lagging, then how are they going [u][b]Faster[/b][/u] than green bar players? They can't!

Ran into 3 lag switchers in IB. Difference between a switcher and normal lag is blatant. It was great when the enemy team picked up their heavy... ours wouldn't retrieve and then the same guy picked up our heavy after slaughtering everyone. It's especially great when the guy stands there, is immune to damage and then kills us instantly. Ran into my first aim bot, or very sketchy playing in IB. NEVER seen snapping in Destiny before. If you've played games with a dedicate aimbot like counter strike you know what I'm referring to. Ran into a guy with double supers in IB. NEVER seen this before regardless of lag. No he was not wearing a piece of armor like obsidian mind. He also used them back to back with no delay... undoubtedly this sounds like an exploit similar to the shadowshot one... Granted this game inherently lags because there are no dedicated servers. Everything relies on a P2P connection which is asinine.

2 RepliesSigned, Bungie doesn't care about cheaters. If they did this problem would of been taken care of long ago. If the consequences were severe enough it might make them think twice, instead Bungie goes after the player reporting the cheating.

Signed. Just last night I used my entire blade dancer super on ONE guy for about 5 swings only to get shot gunned after my super was over AND THEN he decided to die. Two of the three were red bars. We were up 4-0, and lost 4-5

I quit reporting to Bungie, as it is clear that they don't care. Instead, I report directly to XBL & PSN. They may or may not do something about it, but we know Bungie won't.

Definitely aren't doing as good as they should be. Nearly every match in IB has a pair of lag switching A-holes. My fireteam reported every one of them to bungie and Microsoft. Nothing will happen to them by bungie, as usual, but maybe Microsoft will get them.
