Most frustrating iron banner ever
Can't wait until this f***in thing is over.
Most consistently lopsided matches I have ever seen.
Crappiest connection ever. Weasel and chicken errors.
Want to get my level five and have no desire to play this game mode again.

1 ReplyMatchmaking should put fireteams against other fireteams. Instead, it seems to put fireteams of six against six solos. Never goes well. Also, there were many times I wanted to find and punch the developer responsible for shotguns.

Same. I just want it to come to and end. It's a shame as i was so looking forward it. No problem with it being Supremacy, I like it. Also, I like the drop rate and the light level of the drops. Helped me get from 380 to 386. What the problem is, is the damage received and damage dealt. I'm literally having to shoot twice as many rounds to get a kill but that rarely happens as I'm getting two shotted by every gun. This is nothing new, it happens mostly at the weekends but this week it began on Wednesday and it's still happening. Almost to the point of giving up on this pvp nonsense.

IB had been fun and loot seems to be better. However with that said, on my Titan I have won just 6 out of 22 matches!! I am also mostly in the top three on my team. Who the freak makes these teams? How is this fair? It's absurd how many times I get stuck on a freaking loser team.

It's actually good on medium sized maps. On small cornered maps it only depends on who is pulling the shotgun trigger faster.

Supremacy encourages waves of shotgunners and abilities... cuz it's not like we want more primary-weapon based battles... Bungie is pretty ignorant when it comes to PvP

8 RepliesI totally agree, Ib supremacy is nothing more then shotguns n supers. Because a hunter is unfairly the weakest by far guardian in destiny, you can Sort of guess how the match is going to go who will win. if you join a fire team full of warlocks and Titans you will do well if it is full of hunters, it's like lambs to the slaughter.

Supers come twice as fast than on regular Supremacy, control or clash. Bungie has released a lot of cool artifacts but it's breaking the competitive game modes and making them into Mayhem game modes.

1 ReplyToo bad you're not having a good experience I had to adapt my play style with all the shotgunners running amok, luckily I found a plan, a Plan C, works marvellously (I'm sure I pissed of some sliding shotgunners in the process of disintegrating them with blue particles) :)

I think they knew the cluster -blam!- they were about to bring us so they increased reward rates, unfortunately 20 shotgun drops do not satiate me bcs it's actrash shotgun. Mediocre fire rate with mediocre impact, not even good for pve. First Mayhem banner is ever, enjoy the MLG status though undeserved

2 RepliesIf they going to ban every red bar, there won't be much players left. The lag is so bad. For sure there a some lag switchers but the most people a struggeling with the destiny servers. Some games are not playable because of the lag.

I just want the book completion then never have to play this piece of shit gametype again. I need a Trials completion too. I have no desire to upgrade my PvP cancer to stage 5+, so I'm just gonna throw the games and get it over with. Then I can finally go back to PvE, where Destiny doesn't make me hate my life.

5 RepliesThere is a ton of lag switching and funny business going on in the IB. I suspect the ban hammer post this IB swinging hard. There are matches when I hit full shotgun or fusion rifle shots and they take zero dmg. That could be lag but it's way to consistent and I see the same player lagging. I guess all you can do is report them

1 ReplyIt's broken and, for whatever reason, Bungie don't seem to give a s**t. Red bar runs supreme, glitched games were only one team can gather crests, players invisible for the entire match, no balance, teams of 385/6's against teams of 350 - 365's and just way way way to many slide shotgunner's for it to be remotely amusing. Had a conversation with one guy on Tuesday who was lagging so disgustingly that I had to call him on it and he told me genuinely that he hoped Bungie would take action against him, he told me he had been lag switching in Trails and Iron Banner for over twelve months and that he had lost count of all the "reported cheat" messages that he had received but no action, not even a warning, had been taken against him. Bungie have not issued bans to cheater's for over a year and all that say's is that they obviously either don't care or they haven't got a clue what to do about it. For one it would be a good start to bring back connection based matchmaking.

3 RepliesAgreed! Day one was good then the last couple days there has been a serious issue with the servers. This has created the worst ever Iron Banner experience with terrible lag and lop sided matches. Very unfortunate cause it has always been my favorite.

Pulse shots, shotgun from point blank leaving them with a little life, hammers exploding at their feet doing nothing. All of this while I'm constantly two shotted by ANY weapon in the game. I don't know what's in the net code but it's pure evil.

I made rank five in the first day, playing solo. I was on some bad teams too, with 340ish light guys. Plenty of last minute losses. However, the loot was good on day one. Day two, not as much. Once I grabbed a shotgun and joined the wolf pack shotgun meta, it was okay. That game mode sucked. Hate using shotguns.

I'm not a big fan of Supremacy either, but in 3 days I was able to get the 3 of my characters to rank 5. One per day. And since I use all Titans, I managed a full set of IB armor and all but sniper and rocket launcher for weapons. Overall I dig it. It used to take me 4 days or more to do one character. And the rewards drop was less frequent too. I now have enough gear to make all my characters 385 too. I also played with a full fireteam too, which helped a lot. That said, I hope it isn't always Supremacy.

4 RepliesI hate this game type. I honestly don't know what happened. I played a few games in the first week and was pretty good at it. Now in iron banner I keep getting destroyed. Negative kd on a regular basis. I've played a lot of crucible and my overall kd is 1.3 (not great, but serviceable), but I keep getting destroyed in supremacy. I never have 1 v 1 battles and if I'm in the middle of a 1 v 1 then someone blindsides me with a shotgun. I hate it. This iron banner makes me want to quit destiny altogether.
