Pop a blade in PvP, and one shotgun melee and your dead.
Its a super that can't kill other supers. It hits the weakest, it mobility was nerf, and can be shotgun melee. Its mostly a trade every time. Please bungie help
Edit: No super should be killed with just a shotgun melee. NO SUPER!

7 RepliesStormcaller and sunsinger have to deal with this. We make it work, and so does the majority of blade dancers.
-
5 RepliesBlade dancers do not need a buff. If anything they need a nerf.
-
2 RepliesIf you enter my bubble and I'm running Weapons of Light I should be able to kill you. If you enter my Bubble and I'm running Armor of Light I should be able to with stand some of your damage. Hunters and Warlocks have Roaming Supers and a Bubble is an in place Fortress for a reason.

1 ReplyI've watched blade dancers wipe teams.
-
3 RepliesUse razor's edge and never get shotgun melee'd again
-
12 RepliesImo if you use Blade super and someone still has the time to shotgun/melee you,it is your fault. Same thing for other supers too. "Its a super that can't kill other supers".You are wrong. It can actually kill any super the same way other supers can stop a Blade. "No super should be killed with just a shotgun melee. NO SUPER".2 days ago,as a Titan (if I remember well) stopped the same Storm 2 times (alone) using a shotgun and a melee. It was his error not my skills or his super being weak.He just used his super without even looking where his enemy was.Why should I not be able to stop that player? He did not even understand where I was.

Lol...help he said...think twice, brother guardian.

Bladedancers aren't meant to go face to face with people anyway. They perform best when they come at a control point held by the entire enemy team from the side and wipe them all out before they know what hit them. Thus all the invisibility options. TLDR: come at people from the side. If you're staring a shotgunner in the face, you probably deserve the one hit kill. Pop super, go invis, and ninja.

5 RepliesFinally, hunters aren't so op in crucible worship the god known as BUNGIE!!!
-
My fog with unstoppable is getting shotgun meleed.
Its a super that can't kill other supers.
Play as a Defender and get back to me. But in all seriousness, Arc Blade has advantages that you have to play to in order to get the most out of it. Since it requires you to get up close, then the best thing you can do is stay close to areas with cover and use vanish so that you can approach your enemies without appearing on their radars. Once you get a chain going (assuming you're using the perk Hungering Blade), you're pretty much unstoppable. The worst thing you can do is use it like a panic super.

7 RepliesThe only thing blade dancers know how to do is mash the Melee button it takes no skill what so ever. They don't need a buff they need a nerd on the armor. People complain about storm callers yet they have barely any armor it's not my fault the only thing people know how to do is run when they hear a super. If y'all team shot every super is weak. Also if anything needs a buff it's sunbreakers. Titans just aren't fun anymore, all they do is use a super that reaches the size of a room and there's no fun fighting a sunbreaker anymore. Hunters are already overpowered as it is they don't need a buff.

1 ReplyNeeds 3 hits + against a Solar Titan vs 1 hammer.

6 RepliesEdited by Majakilo: 10/3/2016 3:24:01 PMMy three gripes involve comparative damage resistance, length of super, and damage output. Comparative damage resistance: I know I could just be whining here, but it seems like a Sol Titan can take two shotgun blasts and live, where as a blade dancer (and gunslinger) cannot survive one. If they've changed it so only high impact snipers can one shot headshot kill a super, let us survive one shotgun blast. I want to feel super, not just as defenseless as I was before activation. Length of super: really this is fine, and the nerf was more or less understandable, but not working well. If I remember correct the nerf made using a Melee swing use increased super energy, the intention was so we had to be smarter and more conservative with our energy and not button mash. Unfortunately, if I see a target a little ways away and I think, "I wanna save my super energy for when I get near to one shot him" the math doesn't add up. Even though I'll walk normal to use less energy, the distance covered walking uses more energy time than if I covered the same distance swiping. If the nerf was to fix button mashing and reward smarter players, then decrease the amount of energy used just walking with the super. Damage output: a direct hit from nova bomb, sol grenade, hammer, golden gun, arrow, fist of havoc, all one shot, sometimes with nova bomb it doesn't even need to be direct. Shotguns one shot, sniper headshot one shot, shoulder charge one shots, many grenades one shot. WhyTF does my arc blade not one shot??? If as described before I am just as vulnerable to those snipers and shotguns, why should I even super? (Hyperbole). I thought Bungie tried to fix the animation so we don't need to continuously swipe the same body multiple times. If a hammer and a golden gun meet, whoever fires first wins. If an arc blade and hammer meet, I need to hit him twice to kill him, even though mine takes more skill and daring to reach him. Same problem with warlocks with an over shield, or them and arrows and fists who activate their super and avoid even losing their full shield to one hit but one shot me with theirs. Of all these, no question, arc blade should be able to one shot other supers.

2 RepliesNo no, blade dancers are fine. Nerf the Storm caller armor boost and we'll have "balance"
-
Get good lmao

They're a little tougher to use because most of the times you'll have to get close so there are a lot of times where you can just get shredded by the opponent team firing. But with that said, jut learn how to use it smarter. Put in short hallways and a good amount of cover and it's pretty hard to team fire since you'll be taking them on 1v1 with a super 3 times instead of 3v1 one time. Also if you get foh a lot try razors edge and use that against all Titans you try to kill. They're most likely just baiting you to get close so they can smash. Blink with high agility helps against nova bombs as well. Kinda.
-
Dodge a hammer and smack him twice, smack a stormscrub twice, smack anything twice to kill them. It's actually a veryyy good class/super. Only things that usually win are nova bomb and foh because they deal their full damage in one go. I started to main my hunter again before the rise of iron because of bladedancer being so good for me but figured the raid would yet again need warlocks more than hunters.

Typical blade dancer gameplay
-
Bladedancers need to be quick again... The super shouldn't be elongated just because you don't swing, you pop it and do your thing in a smaller area and done. Blink strike is the new Striker Titan Melee from Y2.... The 2 main things were not fixed that actually had a problem. Hit detection & frontal backstab

39 RepliesIf bladedancers get buff give then take the nerf off titan hammer tracking as they have to throw in an arc that makes it easier to avoid on medium distance. Hunters you can't be the op characters it's called balance for a reason.
-
I shut down two stormcallers earlier today. Yea it takes two hits to kill them(which I'm perfectly fine with) but pop it around a corner if you can, wait till they come by thinking they are invincible at close range and boom a dead stormcaller. Now this sounds like I'm saying it's easy but it's really just about getting the first hit and the super is suppose to be speed based so saying it's weak is just saying it is what it is.

2 RepliesEdited by IJCrow: 10/3/2016 2:03:31 AMUse Vanish for Bladedance, sneak up behind them and shred them before they know you're there. Shotguns and painful for almost all supers, but if you learn how to combat them, you'll be fine. For BD rely on mobility (double jumps and slicing side to side) and stealth for maximum effectiveness :)
-
5 RepliesIts fine. If you're complaining about getting shotgunned and meleed then SS deserve a huge buff they get shotgun meleed all the time, they're self-res is situational as hell. BD have a chance to get a kill with their supper. Pop a self-res while someone is looking at you? You're gonna get pt right back down.

In all honesty I main blade hunter since day 1 and I've managed to out play almost all supers. But alot of the bs gets bad
