Who thinks Icebreaker should come back?
Icebreaker was a great sniper rifle. It's design and unique perk gave it the kick it needed. I remember doing great things with icebreaker and I'd love to make more memories with this exotic weapon. What do you guys think? Should the glory of icebreaker be restored or should it be left behind?

I would love it back just to have it back but I'm not sure it really has a role anymore for the current content. I mean the special amo generation is great for juggler but we have better DPS options available with no waiting time if you have the bullets.

5 RepliesNope, if the Icebreaker comes back I will have literally no reason to use any other sniper rifle, It's just way too good, why would anyone turn down a rifle that can't run out of ammo and can do great damage?

Along with Vex, Necrochasm and Pocket infinity. I dont know why the hell they didn't already. All i know is, when the next april update comes, they will be bring foward, you can write my words.

Don't care if its brought back or not, I would use one of my legendary snipers over it 10/10 times and my exotic slot will always be for Gally/ sleeper/ sword/ outbreak prime anyway.

I make memories on my own, by doming kids in the crucible in gamemodes like rift or combined arms. However, I definitely agree with you I want that gun to come back.

Yep I am a fan. You can all say what you want. You can cheese. Oh its to good. Plan and simple snipers are best gun in most games hands down. That gun was so fun. And it should be brought back. No exotic snipers come close to that. But I see why its gone. Back in the beginning time we had self rez kids talk so much shit about being able to rez after they get wrecked. Boom self rez. Boom ice breaker one shot with overshield. Ah those were the days being a guardian met something

No. It's a lazy way to play. Just sit back and wait for the 6 rounds to recharge, slowly. I much prefer the more active style of gameplay without it. 1KYS and BS, plus many others, are much better options. They hold more ammo, and can more quickly refill the magazine with ammo packs. No waiting.

With all the new crazy over powered things introduced I think it could be added without upsetting the "balance".
