Why are people such dicks in strikes?
Stumbled across a two man fireteam on heroic strikes. The whole time they were sitting down and not doing anything until I received a message from one of them saying "Leave". I didn't reply and I left because I didn't wanna waste my time. But the question is why do people do this? I was just trying to raise my light level. I was the only one who was actually doing something. And it wasn't the omnigul strike, I doubt they will be farming for something on the cabal strike.

1 ReplyThere are always ways to get them back. Back in the days when we still had those bounty's complete a strike without dying. We had a dickhead not doing anything but he moves with us. So at the end of the strike he wanted to shoot a rocket at the boss, so we waited when he was going to shoot and put a bubble on his face "guardian down" "dickhead departed"

I had two douche bags on omni bitch yesterday meleeing me the whole time, didn't stop me from killing everything and continuing to damage boss, but because they wouldn't stop, I just went and died on purpose to long it out for them xD they soon took the hint I was not going to leave so they buggered in the end lol

Had to take a wiz, put the sticks down for about five minutes after about my fifth consecutive strike with a buddy and come back to a ton of hate mail from the third guy (some random). I told him to chill, admitted my bad, had to pee. Guy still messages me.....

Bruh u dont know that pain when u are unable to complete a strike or a nightfall when u get matchmade with unskillful idiots who cant even shoot. Yasterday I was doing heroic strike (I was only 344) it was my first in roi and we got to the boss room and one of our fireteam members was soooo -blam!-ing bad, I revived him and he died few secs later and that happend a few times and we cocnstatly were failing mainly cause a noob who cant complete story mode is doing strike so I got pissed msg him to quit destiny and left the strike

It happened to me several times, so I just message them back that I'm running straight up to the room to get Omni to spawn and ruin the checkpoint! It usually ends up with a few nasty messages to me but they always leave, I then finish the strike with a random lol

1 Replylmao I remember that happened to me in year 1. Got two messages from two man fire team telling me to leave in a strike, they were rude as hell. If they would have asked politely for me to leave so they can get their buddy in I would have left. But nope they were rude so I finished the strike myself lol.

Got the same shit a few weeks back I spawn in the Rasputin Strike, they are just sitting, one of them messages me, threatening to hack me. I say, " Cool, do it." He never did, they both left the strike, and I sent him a message 2 days ago saying, "So are you going to hack me or what?" He just replied with, " Kys"

They were just being assholes. They probably had a third come online, and they didnt want to lose their streak, so they resorted to being assholes. You took the high ground, personally I would block them so I never have to deal with them again.

Got my first hatemail this week from strikes. Team kept dying, so I jumped up the cheese spot to not have to wipe constantly. He didn't get that I think.

I had something like that happen once on the Valus Ta'Aurc strike once. I soloed it myself, dragging them behind me the whole time, and actually revived them when they died, gave them cover, ETC, just to rub in how terrible they were being. In the end I got an exotic (a repeat, but still), and all they got were blues. I feel like RNGsus knew what was up that day, and decided to throw some karma our way.

2 RepliesI love it when people do this kind of stuff, cause then i get to be an even bigger douche back. - Purposely dying when I'm the last person alive (lol, much payback on people that are just being dicks) - Using only a sidearm to slowly kill everything - Sit around with them - Go explore and try to do out of map glitches - Get as high as I can on a map etc...

Next time just stay until they leave. If they keep Inboxing you tell them you are going to take a duke nukem and not to move until you get back. If they keep talking crazy say "I HAVE SPOKEN". They'll leave, new awesome players will join. Boom, vote z3r0

20 RepliesProbably because their buddy got error codes and punted to orbit and they were waiting for the return. Maybe they were hoping to land the Omnigul Strike for farming purposes. Why are you so concerned that an established fireteam didn't want you (random blueberry) there with them? Go to orbit and find a new fireteam. Pretty simple, no?
