Light level matters way too much to the new raid...

Your 355. My team went in tonight around that and came out in the 360s. My got everything done except the boss.

It's a raid! End game content. It isn't even hard to get to 365 just run a few strikes or omnigul for a faster lvl up. The only significant dps check is the final boss which makes sense and is doable with a team of 6 360+. Quit being a baby

2 RepliesLol what? It's the same as kings fall. In fact kings fall required much more levelling up than WotM. We started TTK as 170 and had to get to 270 for the raid. We started ROI as 335 and only have to get to 360/370.....

If you mean that by doing anything other than Omnigul 320 strike for 5 hours to get to 365, then I would agree. Its the loot cave again Bungie. [/quote] The above is a quote from Deej himself. Grasp farming resulted in strike hoards. Good choice, but key drop rate is butts. If you mean that they should have put the raid release back a week, in order to get patches and fixes for the things (I hope) are broken (and not poor design choices). Archons forge. dont do it. just no.

It should be difficult for the majority the first week its out hell I have only just passed light level 350 on my main..... If you play for 10 hours a day I guess it would be easy but Im lucky to get an hour a day. On the plus side I will still have light increasing content to play in 6 months though.

3 RepliesEdited by KSI MySTiiQuE: 9/25/2016 3:57:58 PMActually teamwork matters the most! And in your instance it was damage that was the problem, throw the bombs simultaneously! Instead of hitting 1000 each, two of them will hit 100k and drop 1/3 of the shield each time.

Well to be fair, I'd rather have it this way. It's rough for a lot of the community NOW but once everybody levels to 370 or even 380 it'll be much more random friendly I think. This would suck a lot more if we were limited to leveling high strictly from the raid. But as it stands, we can reach 385 from exotic engrams, faction packages and night falls (and strike specifics). So will it be potentially slow for those who did not stockpile engrams? Sure. But it's not as bad of a bottleneck as we've had before. AND you can always do PART of the raid. 350-60's can handle the first two "bosses" if they work well together, and that raid loot helps!

I think that's fine, though most of the difficulty should come from player and team performance. A little artificial difficulty ain't bad though. Hard mode should include build optimisation and perfection.

15 RepliesPeople complained about light level not mattering in King's Fall and it being to heavy on the mechanics. So they changed it to what the people wanted. Get over it.

Just do the heroics till your 365. 365 is a fine light level for the raid
