To everyone who said saving engrams is a waste of time.
It's now been confirmed that current engrams will carry over into the new loot pool and even blues will decrypt over 335.
I saved 30+ exotic engrams, a bunch of Legendary engrams, and now I might even grind some strikes for blue engrams to save.
Looks like us engram horders didn't waste our time after all. Good luck getting ready for the new raid on Friday and I hope you enjoyed getting the same exotic over and over when you decrypted all of yours early.

12 RepliesSo you can be like every one of the last update retards that cheated their way to 335, not realizing they would be exposed when in a raid dying nonstop, cause every single one of them SUCKED at the game? Back in 320 days you HAD to earn it, not cash motes of light in or spam COE or crucible, etc... now its just a #... who gives a fuk when reach 400 or whatever it is gonna be now. Bad enough only tiny amount of content being added... really wanna blow thru it and get stale all over again, just to brag about ur light level? No thx.

4 RepliesI haven't bought RoI, so we'll see how they decrypt later tonight after work. If they decrypt at the higher light level, then I have even more reason to hold off on RoI until some real reviews come in.

18 RepliesNever once have I seen engrams from before a DLC decrypted into a new loot pool. I'll believe it when I see it. But, I am collecting exotic engrams because I'll be using them as infusion fodder once the light level cap increases.

5 RepliesI like how people are counting on this to work, to raise their light level, not gonna lie I have a good amount stored away, but only weapons. If it works out, good, but if it doesn't, whatever. I could just imagine if it doesn't work, how many people are gonna rage and go ape shit on the forums. "Bungie screwed us" Not fair", "I'm quitting destiny" Etc. Etc. Etc. Just remember its only a video game.

All 3 characters have: Vanguard edged, Crucible edged, Cryptarch edged, Gunsmith edged, Respecitve factions edged. Along with 200 Legendary Marks, 2 pages of legendary & exotic armor engrams, 1 page of legendary & exotic weapon engrams & countless blues due to the pre ROI update. Fml. And no, I didn't do it to "rip through content". I did it because I had everything i wanted/needed 3 weeks after April update. SO I just stocked up. Many want to feel the challenge of working your level up and trying to scrape and claw for more power, just part of how destiny is. If TTK is any indication that these dlcs will last a few months at best, then I'd rather not make that time frame even shorter by discovering all the goodies early on.

Hey silly shit it has not been confirmed as of yet. It is still in the mix just because a YouTube er said it is dose not mean they will. I really hope they will. But Bungie can change this if they like.

58 engrams tucked away mostly exotics & legendaries, but since this news dropped its all getting tossed in the vault. The goal is 100 by Tuesday.
