VoG & Crota have been ignored for a long time now. Prepping them for Rise of Iron would really give players more to enjoy in the game. Just add a higher difficulty, change the loot and challenges and Presto!

2 RepliesIt'll play out like this: Community: We want old raids back, they were so much fun. Bungie: Ok here you go (Bungie updates them) Community: Wow you're too lazy to make new content and just reskinned the raids like everything else we asked for. We'll add this to the list of reasons for why we hate you.

Edited by Qwerty: 8/14/2016 2:08:33 PMThey're planning on doing this. Its just later in the cycle. Right now they have up to the start of next year planned out officially. Right after that the content runs dry and talk starts moving to Destiny 2. Then when we reach the "last stretch" of Destiny (probably the start of summer), they will bring as much as they can properly balance foward. That means all raids become viable sources of loot (we'll probably need to re-earn end level versions of the loot. Which is fine, of course, I want to replay the old raids). Along with the raids we will probably see an uber-weak Ice Breaker and any remaining exotics come forward. I'll even go as far as to say we might see every balancable Y1 legendary become reacquirable in some fashion, probably through an advancement in the infusion process or through their old drop locations.

2 RepliesBungo has stated a few times that they need a PROPER way to bring them back besides just bumping the light level. Theory: April update style thing that brings back VoG, Crotas, and the Nexus mind strike with extra free story missions

[insert Bungie excuse for why VOG and CE can't get updated with future installments here]

Hahahah lol funny. Go eat shit. You make far too much sense. -team bungo.

2 RepliesSomeone else made this point in a previous thread and it is pretty good. "Why play the new raid and learn all the mechanics, when you can just play the old raids?" Seems to make sense to me. If the old raids were brought up, we could sleepwalk our way to max light.

I reckon all they would need to do is buff it up to the new light level and take the elements off of the primaries Fate ringer wouldn't be the must have amazing weapon it was if it wasn't arc damage. Would still be good, but not overpowered

Just go do them if you want to do them. They're just as fun as they were before.
Also, #lore?
12 RepliesNever, ever gonna happen. That would cost money, they might as well make something new for the cost
