Just got No Mans Sky....
Don't listen to the bad reviews. This game is somethin' special. (I'd recommend renting it though just if space exploration isn't your cup of tea)

1 ReplySo I've been enjoying it up until now. As soon as I leave a planet I'm attacked. Cool, I'm good in a dog fight. I take down the 3 ships attacking me no problem. I go to pulse to my next destination, and it tells me my pulse is disrupted by enemies. Come to find out, this enemy is on the other side of the freaking solar system. So now I'm typing this while holding boost to go fight an enemy who's hanging out by a plant that's an hour away.

4 RepliesI just found a planet that has a ton of rare and exotic material. Only problem is the planet is so freakin hot i can only stay outside for less than a minute. And there are heat storms all the time and I can only be out for 15sec when that's happening. This may take awhile. I'm already 5min from my ship. Hope to find a base soon.

1 ReplyYeah, people expect all these things from it that the hype told them, but before you buy, this is the advice I gave to my friends. Read everything Sean Murray has said in the past couple months and you'll know what this game really is. Also, watch the four trailers. It's a survival game above all else. Honestly, the way I would describe this game is like a better version of Out There (iPad game, really fun look it up) with managing resources and shit to get to a destination

People [i]should[/i] actually do their own research and even read the reviews in order to get a sense of what they're potentially going to be purchasing. It's fascinating how some of you will use the excuse of, "Well what did you expect?", when it suits them, then in the same breath turn around and attempt to keep people ignorant to the poor response that the game is receiving in hopes to garner more sales — or at the very least to justify their purchases.
