Am I lying? There's always 1 guy that just grinds your gears and you have to get him/her
What does it take for you guardian?
Edit: We're trending, nice! A few things I noticed that are fairly common for a lot of us...
-Nobody likes peek-a-boo hard scopers
-Universal Remote is a Universally hated
-Shoulder charging Titans are starting to be hated more than hunters
-Some of us are too cool to have a little in match rivalry apparently
I think a lot of people took the title too literally thinking I meant that you pick one person and one person only to hunt the entire match, now there are some instances that call for this but most of the time it's just a friendly in match rivalry with one person that when you run into them you HAVE to win that gun fight for several of the reasons mentioned in the thread.
At the end of the day it's just a little something extra to get the competitive juices flowing and make matches a little more interesting, nothing more and nothing less

1 ReplyOnce in a while, if someone is being an annoying -blam!- nugget, I'll go after them aggressively. Though, for the most part I don't look at class or usernames. They're all just pixels on a screen. Pixels I must kill...

Edited by Koalemos78: 7/28/2016 3:08:37 PMIts usually the Bunny Hopping guy with the shotgun who always kills me from behind while I'm aiming down sights at some other guy in a 6v6. If its not him its the crouching warrior camping the same spot the entire match. From the second time he gets me to my last I make it my only goal to kill him and hope I can catch him on walk about while he tries to scurry back to his torrid hidey hole. I'll shatter my own KD (although lets be honest, it wasn't going to be great anyway) to make sure he never knows the sweet embrace of his "safe place" again. Always leave a camp sight cleaner than when you got there. The Boy Scouts way.

The shade step shotgunner Or the titan skating shotgunner

Am I the only one that doesn't target someone in a game?
but like seriously wtf I've never done this
-
Usually some kid hardscoping in the same spot the whole game.
-
Oh yes there is. I usually send them a gg message afterwards because I definitely respect their skill unless it is a lagger.

Am I lying? There's always 1 guy that just grinds your gears and you have to get him/her What does it take for you guardian?
For the most part I'm an equal opportunity killer. T-baggers and red bars seem to boil my blood though. Especially T-baggers at the bottom of the score chart. But what else are they gonna do?

Edited by ClovenTrack620: 7/28/2016 12:47:40 PMlol im guilty , for me it takes a hardscoper camping on the same spot all game, thas usually the player i pick on, like that plattform close to zone B in shores of time. other than that just the usual Last Word scum bags and Mida users ....

7 RepliesDunno about every match, but it certainly seems like it. Although I had a friend join my fireteam mid-natch last IB, but it put him on the other team. So we ignored all other enemies and looked for him. I think we all had around .59 KDs by the time it was done.

1 ReplyIt's usually that one guardian who has your number. They seem to just get the better of you in the one on ones the first few times. I keep a mental note and work them out. It keeps it fresh and adds a nice challenge to the game. That or just people camping or hard scoping. I turn Liam Neeson on them.
Am I lying? There's always 1 guy that just grinds your gears and you have to get him/her What does it take for you guardian?
Good post especially after IB. I had this blood boiling feeling last week when being t-bagged by scrubs who would end up at the bottom of the team summary. It does make you go after them and take them down but on the other hand if you were sniped or killed with skill it is acknowledged from my opinion.

Edited by feyndeath: 7/28/2016 1:10:22 PMYep. There's always that one guy. You just hate his face!!! While playing blade dancer in IB. I came up against another blade dancer on widows court. He was a good player... Killed me a couple times. Then stopped my super and waved... Now it's on!!! I kill him wave he kills me goes to wave and gets killed by my team mate. Then he popped his super below perch. I blink back and throw skip then mida him while backing up and kill him... I wave and teabag.... Which I don't think he ever teabagged me so I'm a douche. I hated that guy entire time but afterwards I respected him..
-
If you tea bag me and didn't earn it. If you lazy tea bag me. (Tea bag me from across the map, you know who you are.) If you are wrecking me. (I must have my vengence even though know i will get out played and continue to get wrecked..) If you msg me some stupid -Blam-, i will follow you and make your life miserable for the games you stay in lobby. (had a guy msg me during last iron banner because he felt i wasn't capping flags one game. When in reality we had two points so i camped out B, guess i killed him alot.)
-
ya since i have to get 27 more rumble wins and 2900 warlock kills to finish those grim off i usually just go after the leader so he cant go up in points so i can take 1-3 by keeping him down ..
-
I'm an equal opportunity challenger. All people in lobby get a gunfight
-
A dumb gamertag hehe
-
The noob who decides to tbag me when he steals his teammates kill. I make sure to finish the round as a win by killing him.
-
Matches where enemys lag i report them, wish they get dc and wish i would never see them again, but in matches without lag i dont have those sworn enemys.
-
Similar score and light level, and an emote after a super kill from him. Bag city from there on out for me.
-
Last word, hard scoping, blade dancer, realkraftyy wannabes.
-
As someone that always uses NLB in crucible. I will always go after anyone that snipes me. I don't make it my life's mission to keep killing this person the rest of the game to. But I will respawn and go snipe them back immediately.
-
3 RepliesI don't know why but I am always after that hunter with TLW with sniper. Maybe that's because I don't personally think the loadout is fair, but as I said idk
-
If i get cheap shotted by a sniper while im buckin at his team mate... If i just melted 2 ppl and a 3rd finishes me off then tbags or emote on me...
-
This is true most matches.
-
I rarely even pay attention to the name of the person who killed me. The only time I remember names is when they lag.
