Max light for RoI isn't 355

First off, when Deej was playing, we saw a green engram drop, and it's [i]extremely[/i] rare for a green to drop at max light. Second, Deej was using the standard shell from the beginning of the game. Unless they made it infusable, or made a year 3 version, it still has like 5 light. Can't get to max light with a 5 light ghost, which leads me to believe that the max is way higher than 355. Thoughts?

    Yea pretty obvious its not lol Deej did said the gameplay they were on was still going though development- which is why greens were dropping This is good because slow development means the content will be a masterpiece Every artist knows you can't rush art "Great things are done by a series of small things brought together." (Vincent Willem van Gogh) Knowing 355 is their light draft just means it could very well be 400 or higher Meaning broman video was right of him thinking the new light will be 500 https://youtu.be/0FG0oW_SrvI His video was very mathematical If you think about it makes sense Also keep in mind like the taken king the light went up to 320 from 310 when hard kingfall was released Meaning the same with Rise of iron raid The max light on September 20th won't stay at that stat Also bungie did said at E3, more content will come after rise of iron release Lack of content because last gen was holding the gaming development back Other words more content. Higher light we will become- events and updates like the april update as said during E3, crimson days like events will happen after rise of iron That was their answer for not updating year 1 raids, bungie live team are making new content besides rise of iron:) I went E3 crazy just watching bungie E3 Interviews

  • He also didn't have any artifacts, the lock symbol was in the artifact slot when he opened his inventory

  • Green engrams can drop at max light. Far as I know they only stop dropping when all 3 subclasses in that character are max.

    • Greens drop a lot if u haven't finished the main story line of the most recent dlc I have 2 that haven't finished just so I get more drops for armor materials.

      • That was a test environment so who really knows. I think it was digitaltrends that said 355 and stated it as fact, not speculation. I REALLY doubt they can know though so i'd take that info w/ a grain of salt.

      • Someone else did the math. But if the gear he was wearing was all maxed at 395, with the standard shell, it drops you down to 355. So it can be reasoned the new max light will at least be around 395

          • I personally wish Bungie would leave light level alone, all my weapons and armor are 335 light. Just raise the level to 50ish and make it hard to get to the top, like the good old days.

          • Keep in mind, nothing regarding light levels in the stream matters until they tell us. ROI is still in development. They fine tune the light level as they go.

              • Similar to how player levels were upwards of 49/50 in the viewings for early builds of Rift/TTK, I'd say this is also a good assumption.
