Random is broken. Loot pools are stuck on cycle
Hey Bungie... Not sure how I am supposed to get a Saterienne Rapier, or a Zen Meteor, if I cannot get out of my looping Loot Pool.
I have been stuck in the looping loot pool for about 5 weeks now. I have done everything from resetting the system, clearing the cache, not playing for a week, playing other modes, Playing other games, Lowering my light level, playing with a fireteam, Soloing the Nightfall, Soloing the Challenge of Elders... etc.
No matter what I do, Every time I get an exotic engram, it is always 1 of 2 possibilities.
Given the current state of my game, I am at what in chess is called a stalemate. I move towards you, you have no place to move that is not into check.
At this point, I have been playing destiny almost daily, for nearly 3 years. [i](For those of you that miss the point... Year 2 ends in September)[/i]
Not sure exactly why someone like me should be hitting a brick wall. Did I do something that put me into a Faulty Loop, that won't progress me into the next loot pool?
Is it something I can fix?
Throw us all a bone, and let us in on a secret.
We are all wondering why we don't get Exotics from the Nightfall anymore... and we REALLY don't want to play that mode at all.
Ninja-Nerfing the 3 of Coins again was bad enough... now we simply have no reward 90% of the time we are playing.
I am at the point where I am emotionless about the game. There are no bad losses, or tough wins. It is either a landslide win, or a landslide loss in most crucible matches.
"Bad teams... here is a guy that has been playing for years... let him carry you." I know I am not the only one in this situation... but when I carry a team, that was losing when I joined, and we win... Why do I get no reward?
My incentive to win, goes down each match that I carry the team...
So... are we getting a fix to LOOT DISTRIBUTION? The state it is in right now, is the worst it has ever been.

13 RepliesMy drop rate for eyasluna is 1 per human lifespan from shaxx weekly bounties. And 1 per 40-50 hours spent in the crucible. When it does drop I'm scared to scroll my cursor over the gun, because I know it's Exhumed and partial refund. Maybe surrounded and army of one. NEVER: luck in the chamber, hidden hand, reactive reload, and definitely not rangefinder. We need some form of re rolling perks back, because I've spent a stupid amount of time chasing this God roll eyasluna, hundreds of hours, at some point it's like holy shet have I earned it yet bungie? Have I not phucking earned it yet?!?

I never once got a Mida. Bought one from Xur. Every single exotic i've gotten since? Mida. Nothing but Midas. This game is so broken it's to the point we can only laugh now.

I get boots a cloak or helmet from shaxx upon rank up On the rare chance I get a weapon it is zombie apocalypse, lord high fixer or grim citizen. Had a week once where all three of my characters got identical hawk saws I have gotten the same helmet from both ranking up crucible and vanguard 16 times.. [b]16 Times.[/b]

Hmmmm just got NLB as post game reward after solo nightfall, I think rng is as stated random so in the realm of possibility there will be those that actually fall into a pattern- can't quite explain it. That's the problem as well with random, there is nothing you can do to reset or change the rules- in theory.

2 RepliesSo at the start of every year you've been playing for a year? So everyone who preordered or just started in vanilla had already been playing for a year because it was year 1? I can agree with most of what you're saying but you most certainly have not been playing for 3 years when the game hasn't even been out 2 years.

I've been farming vanguard strikes and the only engrams dropping are the legendary ones, still no sublime. I've been upgrading my vanguard rank and the only item I'm getting is the spektar mark. 4. Times. In. A. Row. Fix ur game bungo

Later decided I was high enough LL to decrypt the engrams I'd been collecting MIDA MIDA Hard Light MIDA Jade Rabbit MIDA Now since Jade Rabbit was the gun I was looking for I count myself fairly lucky, but I'm missing like 6 other primaries :(

I only just got my verybfirst Longbow the other day after grinding since the update. Shaxx pulled through and dropped three for me I guess you just have to wait. Till now NLB has dropped only 3 times since it was released. Its just RNG

2 RepliesI've gotten 1 exotic primary engram since February and I use 3oc every time I do a strike or nightfall or any ultra boss fight for that matter. Less than 5 specials and 2 heavies (both were thunder lords). Meanwhile I can get leg engram after leg engram after leg engram and constant shitty bonds and ghosts from the night falls. It feels like the game is cheating me.

Reputation rewards have been terrible for a while now, especially New Monarchy and Variks. You'll literally get the same item three to four times in a row. 'Smart Loot' needs to take its ass to summer school and get a tutor, as well.

Destiny came out in september of 2014. 2016 - 2014 = 2. The game has only been out for 1 year and 10 months.
