If im 335
Every exotic I decode should be 335 not 334. Seriously every exotic gauntlet I decode it's always 334

2 Repliesput on gear that makes you 334 then most if not all exotics will be 335

It's says a chance at light level the same or higher than yours. If you drop down to 334 your chance at 335 seems to be higher.

Open your engrams at light lvl 333. Better chance of them opening at 335

I go for stretches where it's 334 no matter my LL. Been on a long run lately where everything is dropping at 335.

Exotics decrypt at a -1 to +5 level. That's why it's possible to get 334 items at 335.

Try to have the gear or weapon at 334 or 333 i find this os the best way Either when u open an exotic or package from variks

I drop my light to 334 before decrypting and most of the time results in 335 gear

Had the same problem, i have a 335 hunter and both warlock and titan are 334 and both just need boots to hit 335, i saved all my exotic boot engrams during the week and ended up with 7, swapped them over to my hunter (335) sure id get 335 boots and EVERY one opened at 334, the hunt goes on,

9 RepliesI never decrypt anything when I'm 335 I always do it at 334 seems like you get more 335's that way. Hope this helps

2 RepliesI think bungie did something to intentionally slow down progression. I've been trying to get that 335 chest to fall by popping 3oC constantly. Each time I get a matching 334 chest piece. I'd be willing to bet it was a bungie "silent nerf".

Yes. I can't tell you how many 334 exotics and legendary rewards I've gotten over all my characters. It's frustrating because they are useless.
